Bloody Secrets

CHAPTER 11

MATTHEO

It was strange that she reacted that way, she usually confronted me, she never ran away, so I decided to look for her and saw her running into her room followed by her friends.

I went to the door "But what am I doing here, I shouldn't care" I said in my mind. I was about to leave when I heard Eleanor confess to her sister that she had some secrets she hadn't told anyone.This caught my attention so I decided to listen. I heard all the speech she made until she said she loved her sister.

I sat on the ground and felt sorry for her, for what she had been through because of her father because I could understand her more than anyone else since my father inflicted the same pain on me too.Every time he threw his curses against me "You have to fight the pain Mattheo, only in this way you will become strong" he always repeated to me.He also inflicted the same punishment on Tom but he beat me more because I disobeyed him since I didn't want to follow his orders.

Also since my mother's death, the torture has increased, she was able to calm him down from time to time but the situation got worse without her.

I felt a tear running down my cheek, I took it off right away. That tear was not from my father's torture but from the loss of my mother.

I was lost in my thoughts when the sound of the door brought me back to reality. The door to her room was about to open so I dematerialized myself so as not to be seen there

ELEANOR

I hugged my sister and Diana for a few minutes. They both wiped away my tears and asked me to take a walk to get some air. We left the room and went out of the castle.

My sister held my hand the whole time and she didn't want to leave it. For the first time I was happy that Clara was close to me. We never had this relationship.

"I don't understand why dad hates me so much" I said breaking the silence that had been created

"I hate dad" Clara replied

I squeezed her hand tighter and sat her down on a bench

"Clara, I didn't tell you all this to make you hate dad. You have to keep loving him. Think of all the good times you had with him" I told her

"But you didn't have a good time with him and I can't continue to love him after what he did to you" she looked into my eyes crying

I dried her tears

"Promise me you'll continue to see him as the caring dad he's always been"

"I can't" she replied

"Promise me Clara, please" I pleaded

She looked at me confused "I promise you Eleanor" and hugged me

I turned and saw Diana crying

"Please Diana don't cry"

"I can't do anthing about it, I can't stop myself" she replied and I hugged her too

"I love you Diana" I told her

"Me too, you don't know how much" she replied, she looked at me and I smiled at her

"What do you think if we see a movie all three together tonight, like the old days" I proposed to both of them

"That would be great" Clara smiled

"I'm obviously there" Diana replied happily

We continued walking for a while and finally we decided to take dinner and take it to our room.

We lay down on my bed

"What movie do we see?" Diana asked

"The Notebook" Clara suggested

"But then we'll cry" Diana replied

"At least we can see a beautiful love story" I said and so we started seeing it

Once we finished watching the film, all three of us were full of tears

"I knew it wasn't the right movie" Diana tried to say between tears

"Maybe you were right" Clara said

"Next time I'll choose the movie" and I burst out laughing seeing them in that situation.

 They looked at me smiling and I said "Thanks girls, I don't know how I would have done without you"

"We are always here for you" Clara smiled at me

"Never forget it" Diana added

I turned to Clara "Why don't you stay here and sleep with us?" I proposed

"Eleanor is right, stay with us"

"Okay I'll sleep here" she replied happily and I took her hand

We were very tired so we decided to go to sleep.Diana went to her bed while Clara stayed in mine and we fell asleep together.
