"And this?" I asked him
"Consider it as a gift for the beginning of our friendship" he told me. I took the daisy from his hands and I looked at her. She was so beautiful
"Thanks Mattheo" I said and he smiled at me
I was lying on my bed and holding the daisy that Mattheo had given me in my hands, in the meantime my head would not stop thinking about his gesture
I noticed that it was five in the morning and since I couldn't sleep I decided to take a breath of fresh air
I walked out of the room and as I was walking I noticed a corridor that I have never been to, so I decided to go and I found a huge staircase. I was too curious where it led and I went up the stairs.
When I arrived, I realized I was on the tower that I have always seen from the school entrance.I went closer to have a better look at the horizon from the big tower, the landscape was so beautiful
"You'll never get tired of me, will you?"
I have already heard this sentence and I remembered the dream I had, in fact, thinking about it, the landscape was familiar and this is because I had dreamed it.
I turned and saw Mattheo sitting on the ground
"I didn't think you would already miss me so much as to come and meet me" he said laughing
"What are you doing here Mattheo?" I asked him
"What are you doing here. I come to the tower every morning" he replied approaching me
"Why do you come here every morning?"
"I can't sleep much so I come here" he said looking at the view "My mind is empty when I'm here and all thoughts fade away for a while"
As he spoke, I was watching him intently
"Don't you think it's nice here?" he asked me turning towards me and he noticed that I was already looking at him so I looked away and turned towards the landscape
"Yes, it's very nice. I came by chance, I couldn't sleep and I went out to get some air when I noticed a new corridor so I decided to come and see what was there" I replied.
"Curious the girl" he laughed
"I see I'm not the only one who had this idea" I replied laughing
We looked into the eyes for a few seconds then his gaze fell on my pajamas
"Did you go out in pajamas?"
"Is it banned by any chance?" I replied raising my arms
