I was able to sleep a few more hours this time and without having nightmares. I woke up and saw my sister resting on my belly as she hugged me. I smiled to see her sleeping hugged to me.
At that moment, as I was looking at her, I regretted all the times I treated her badly. All the times she tried to talk to me and I didn't pay attention to her. She had always been close to me despite my behavior.
I stroked her hair softly, it was so soft and fragrant. I should have been more present in her life but I decided I wanted to improve my relationship with Clara.
I looked at my watch and it was time to get up
"Clara wake up" I whispered softly as she started to move
"I don't want to get up. I'm very comfortable" she replied
"I'm good as a pillow then" I said laughing and heard her laughing while she was still resting on my belly. She lifted her head to look at me.
"Thanks" she just said to me
"For what?"
"For this. For making me stay the night. For becoming sisters" she replied looking at me
I felt the tears coming out of my eyes, I held her tight "Thanks to you for staying close to me despite everything" I said and we remained embraced for a few seconds
"How about waking Diana our way?" Clara proposed to me laughing
"You read my mind" I replied
We got out of bed and walked over to Diana who was still sleeping peacefully.Clara was standing next to her pillow while I was at the foot of the bed.We looked at each other and at the rye Clara pulled the pillow away to Diana's head, instead I pulled the covers away
"You know I hate you two" Diana told us
"But you adore us" Clara replied
"Eleanor was enough that she wakes me up in this way every morning and now there is even you" she complained
My sister and I couldn't stop laughing
"I don't want to see you two all day" Diana continued going to the bathroom
"I'm going to my room to get ready, see you later" Clara told me
"See you later" and I kissed her on the cheek
While Diana was getting ready in the bathroom, I put on my school uniform
"You're finally finished to prepare yourself" I told her
