Eleanor's words kept going around in my head. Could it possible that she have been making fun of me from the start and her purpose was just to have fun?
"Mattheo, are you listening to me?"
"No, sorry Tom, I was lost in my thoughts" I said sitting on the sofa in the common room
"Were you thinking about the conversation you had with Eleanor?"
"Why did you ask her to come to me?" I asked raising my voice
"I was worried about you"
"Next time come and ask yourself and besides I would never do anything"
"You would never do anything, would you?" He came over and took my arm "And why is this scar on your arm? And don't say it was our father because I recognize the scars his spells caused beacuse I have the wounds he inflicted on my body too " he said angrily. "Aren't you going to answer now Mattheo?"
"It was stupid thing I did when I was a kid"
"It wasn't stupid thing because I had to heal that wound three times because you tried to kill yourself"
His words were so full of pain and I knew he was just telling the truth
"After this I would have had to pretend nothing happened and wait for the news that my brother had taken his own life" he continued.
"Tom, I didn't know I hurt you so much"
"Now you know" he said putting his hands over his eyes
I approached him "I promise you that nothing will happen, you will not have to suffer again as it happened with our mother"
He smiled at me "But that's enough because we're too sweet" and I burst out laughing
"Would you like to go eat something?" I proposed
"I really wanted to eat something" he replied and we left the room
ELEANOR
After everything that happened with Mattheo I didn't have time to talk to Draco. I still had to clarify with him so I asked Blaise for help, he just had to take Draco with an excuse to the black lake and then I would take care of it.
Laughter brought me back to reality and I saw them coming. Draco saw me and froze himself
