Moving To The Dumping Ground

Chapter 21

I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands. 'What have I done?' I asked myself. Johnny lay at the bottom of the stairs , limp and lifeless. I felt my body start to shake and tears formed in my eyes. I heard the patter of footsteps and Mike appeared at the bottom of the stairs beside Johnny. He looked up at me and ushered me down.

"I didn't mean to" I got out through sobs. "Go into the quite room while I call an ambulance" Mike said. As I walked to the quite room I heard voices singing Christmas carols. "We wish you a merry Christm- JOHNNY!!" Tee cried , I looked back and Tee glared at men. "I HATE YOU BELLA! YOU DID THIS" Tee shouted so I hurried into the quite room with a tear stained face. I sat on the couch and grabbed a pillow and held it close to my heart.

Mike walked into the room and shut the door behind him."Explain" He said strenly. I took a deep breath and spoke although my voice still shaking. I told Mike what had happened.

Mike sighed. "Be careful Bella ,I wont tell anyone". I broke down into tears again. "Johnny will he alright" Mike told me. "But what if he' s not? Then it will be ally fault" I stammered. "Don't worry Bella" Mike assured me.

I could hear sirens and Mike ran outside. I was left alone to cry for a couple of minutes when Mike came in. "Me and Gina both have to go to the hospital with Johnny. I'll tell the others not to bother you" he said. Mike walked over to me and hugged me. "Bella every things going to be fine" , I just buried my head into a pillow. I heard Mike's footsteps leave the room.

"ALRIGHT!" Mike shouted. "Johnny's going to the hospital with me and Gina".

"What happened?" Floss's voice asked.

"Nothing for your concern" Mike said. "Now NONE of you are to go into the quite room while me and Gina are gone. Understand?"

"Yes" voices agreed.

"Bye" Mike called leaving.

"Why can't we go into the quite room?" Tyler asked. "Saying that only makes me want to go in more".

"Because that freak of Bella is in there" Tee growled.

"Tee!" Carmen exclaimed. "Bella's your friend , OUR friend"

"Was Carmen , was. I'm not talking to her since it was her who pushed Johnny down the stairs" Tee said.

"Bella wouldn't do that" Rick's voice said.

I threw the pillow onto the ground and stalked out infront of everyone.

"FINE!" I shouted , still shaking. "I admit it , I pushed Johnny down the stairs but I didn't mean to"

"Why?" Elektra asked simply.

"I don't want to say" I said plainly.

Most people started shouting things at me. I covered my ears with my hands.

"I HATE you Bella" Tyler said coming closer to me. "Go away" I said pushing him back. He fell over.

"See" Tee cried. "She's just an accident waiting to happen".

Fresh tears formed in my eyes. I ran outside into the freezing snow. I ran out to where the car seats are , in the trees.

I just cried and cried.

I was freezing but I couldn't face going back inside. I thought they liked me , but I was wrong they all HATE me. I hugged me knee's.

Suddenly something warm wrapped around me and I opened my eye's. Rick had draped a wooly blanket over me , I gave him a sad smile. Rick was wearing a big puffy coat and looked really warm , as for I looked nearly blue.
