Moving To The Dumping Ground

Chapter 16

I headed to open our door but Lana got to it first. "Now you listen mister" She said harshly towards Rick. He looked really cute , he was wearing a plaid shirt , dark jeans and red hi-tops. In his hand there was a rose. "You have to have Bella back here at 10pm , no later! Keep your hands to yourself". Over Lana's shoulder I mouthed 'Sorry' to Rick , we were both embarresed. "No funny business and you two kids have fun" Lana finshed pushing me out the door. Lana slammed the door behind me and started playing Conor Maynard 'Animal' on full blast. Me and Rick looked at each other and burst out laughing. I smiled once I'd stopped laughing. Rick handed me the red rose , I hugged him. "Thanks" I said as I felt heat rise to my cheeks. Rick smiled. "Come on let's go. I want it to be a surprise so close your eye's and I'll guide you" Rick said. I closed my eye's and Rick held y hands infront of me , leading the way. I nearly fell a couple of times on the journey to the unknown location. I felt a chilly breeze hit me and I knew we were outside.

"You can open your eye's now" Rick finally said. I opened my eye's and gasped. We were in the dumping ground garden. There was a table set for two under tge tree's. The tree's had fairy lights hanging around them. (A/N they were battery powered). I hugged Rick. "Oh My God" I exaimed. "You put in so much effort. It's perfect". Rick smiled. "I'm glad you like it" he said. He pulled out a chair for me. "My lady" He said making me giggle. I sat down and Rick sat oppisit me. The lights in the trees looked so pretty cause it was kind of dark outside so the were shinning.

Carmen appeared followed by Tee and Carmen had two bottles of coke and Tee had what looked like two plates of pizza. I smiled at the girl's , they both were wearing a white shirt , black waist coat , black jeans and had their hair pinned up. Carmen winked at me as she lay down my coke on the table and they left.

Me and Rick chatted for ages after we ate our pizza's. Rick told me about his time at burnywood or burnyhell as he called it and when he first moved here to the dumping ground last year. Rick told me all about this careworker called Tracy and the drama she got everyone up to. I told Rick about my time at Lila's and how I've gotten fostered a bunch of times but it never worked out. Rick told me that he got fostered before but he got into a fight with some other guy there and got sent back here (He'd won the fight :P). Carmen and Tee took away our plates and empty bottles. "Byeeeee" Carmen said waving and then she based into Tee making them both fall over. Me and Rick rushed over and helped them up. "Sorry" Carmen said blushing. I smiled. "It's fine" I said. "We're done here now so have fun" Tee said and herself and Carmen left. Instead of sitting at the table me and Rick sat under a tree. I rested my head on his shoulder as we talked. After a while it started to lash. "Ughh!" I exclaimed as my hair became soaking. "Just leave the table!" Rick shouted over the sound of the rain. He grabbed my hand and we ran for our lives. As we ran I slipped in a pile of mud and fell back onto my bum. "Ewwww" I screamed. "My dress is all muddy". He pulled me up and we ran inside , this time without falling.

Inside we both sat down. I took a good look at Rick , he was soaked from head to toe and same with me. I saw the rose Rick gave me on the table. 'Carmen or Tee must have brought it inside' I thought. I looked at the clock. 10:15. I smiled. "Lana's not gonna be very impressed with you Rick" I said. "It's a quater past 10 , I was ment to be back at 10". "Well lets get you back then" Rick said twirling me around. I giggled and followed Rick upstairs.

At my bedroom door I placed my arms around Rick's wet neak. We stared into each others eye's. Rick kissed me. When we pulled apart my door flew open with an 'angry' looking Lana. "In now!" She demanded. I smiled at Rick before running into my room. "You listen mister" Lana said. "You better be careful just you wait till-" I cut her off by pushing her over. "Sorry once again" I said to Rick. "Night Bella see ya tomorrow!" He said and he went off to his own room. I threw my bag on my bed and Lana plopped herself onto her bed. "So tell me all the deats" She said sounding rather excited. I grabbed my PJ's , my one piece and a towel. "In a bit" I said. "First I'm gonna dry myself in the bathroom". I went into the bathroom , my hair had started to frizz up a bit but I quickly dried myself and got into my PJ's and my onesey. I dried my hair with the towel , it was still wet so I just plaited it cause I didn't want to wake anyone up with the hair dryer. My dress had a big mud stain on it , but I knew it would come out in the wash so I ran downstairs and put it into the washing machine. I put my towel in too. I grabbed the rose Rick gave me and brought it back upstairs to our room. Then I left Lana's muddy pump's at the end of her bed. I put the rose on my dresser and hopped into bed. Lana switched off the lights.

"Guess what?" She asked and I could sence the smile in her voice. "What?" I asked. "I'm going on a date tomorrow with Liam" She cried. "Ooohhh" I exclaimed "Cool". "Speaking of dates how was yours?" Lana asked. I smiled. "It was perfect" I said. I told Lana every detail but towards the end I heard someone snoring.

"Lana!" I exclaimed , but she didn't awake. I giggled and rolled over in bed and fell asleep on positive thoughts.
