Chapter 9

Ryumi's P.O.V.

I woke up to the sound of birds chirping and the sun hitting my face. I got up and decided to clean my body and my wounds. I took off my clothes and went in the water. The water was the right temperature of not too cold and not to hot. I let my body submerge in the water and just float. I didn't do much thinking as I tried not to think about all the stuff that happened yesterday.

I shook off the thought and decided to clean the wounds from yesterday. Nothing too bad, to say the least, but still no better than the others. As I was washing myself, I heard a branch snap. I looked at the direction it was at and I heard voices. They sound familiar. I panicked because I didn't want them to see me like this so I held my breath and went underneath the water.

"Do you even know where we're at Sensei?" I heard Kyosuke asked Sensei loudly.

"I hope you know I've recently moved here so I don't know exactly where everything is yet." Sensei Miyoko said with a snarky comment. I can hear Okijiro laugh at his response.

"This is taking forever, Sensei. Can we just go already?" Okijiro said while pouting.

"Okijiro, say that one more time, I will not hesitate to send both of you back to the academy and I don't think either you or your parents will like that." Sensei Miyoko said to both of them and I could only guess that Kyosuke and Okijiro were a little intimated by that comment.

"Hey Sensei, who's clothes are those?" I heard Okijiro say to Sensei Miyoko as I hear their footstep coming closer.

"Let me see." I heard Sensei Miyoko to Okijiro. As I heard their conversation, I thought to myself that I couldn't stay in the water for too long. I can't hold my breathe for any longer and went up to the surface but only showing my head. They all whipped their towards my direction and as show as they looked, Sensei covered their eyes and kindly smiled and gave me privacy. I slightly nodded at him as I see the three of them walking away.

I walked out of the river, covering myself with my hands and later with a towel that I had. To make sure I was hidden away from Sensei and the other two, I hid behind a tree. I quickly dried myself and proceed to change into my clothes. I didn't have a lot of clothes to change to but I made sure my clothes were in a decent condition before wearing out in public. As I put on my last shoe, I alert Sensei that I was already dressed and all of them came out slowly.

"We're sorry that we came out of no where. We didn't know that you would be here." Miyoko Sensei said while awkwardly laughing.

"You wouldn't have know Miyoko Sensei, so it's alright." I said to him with a soft smile. "Anyways, what are you guys doing here?" I tilted my head to the side.

"Well, the boys came to find me and wanted to know if we had a mission today. We do have one but I forgot about it because I had a lot on my mind so we went out and started to look for you and we found you." Miyoko Sensei said to me. Of course he couldn't mention what happened yesterday but I couldn't help to know that it was my fault that he forgot. He was too business trying to check up on me.

"Anyways, we found you so let's try and complete our missions today." Miyoko Sensei said while rest his hand on my shoulder. I nodded at him and we started to walk out of the forest. Of course we couldn't have a silent walk without Okijiro or Kyosuke arguing about something. As we walked out of the forest, we started to make our way to the Hokage's office for the details of our missions. While we were walking to the Hokage's office, Miyoko Sensei was stopped by the other Sensei.
