Game Over

Chapter 3

Kira launched a fireball at Vordus, but he teleported away, then reappeared a few seconds later, so Kira dropped the wall around the students, and said "Hold on, guys."
"Hey! We needed that!" Allyson reminded him.
Kira created a huge ball of lightning and fire while asking "That all you got?" He launched it at the enderman and told him "My turn."
"Then let's-" he was about to block the attack, but a purple soul suddenly appeared on Vordus's chest, actually, it seemed to be coming from inside his chest.
"Why the sudden change of... heart?" Anton exclaimed as Prokaz pulled Vordus toward Kira's attack, to which he teleported away "It's because, uh... his soul... uh..." He reappeared, but prokaz pulled him down toward his own attack this time "His soul, it's uh..." In the air, Vordus spun, launching a fireball at a demon skull, destroying it, then launching fire at the bones on the floor before he landed.
"You should die," Noah told him quite bluntly as Vordus landed "You should die for that pun." When he landed, Kira teleported in front of him.
"Alright, let's just finish it." Kira grabbed him and teleported, taking him into his teleportation dimension, here, Kira moved at regular speed, but Vordus moved at less than a quarter of the speed he usually would.
He hook punched Vordus across the jaw, knocking him toward the students in the window to the outside. He teleported in front of him and hook punch him toward the wall, away from all of the students. He teleported next to him and punched Vordus in the shoulder, knocking him away. He teleported and thrust punched Vordus in the chest, knocking him backwards. He teleported behind him and got low, then punched Vordus in the spine. He went flying forward and Kira teleported in front of him, punching him lightly. This let Vordus stop in mid air and Kira smugly walked next to him, then behind him. He looked at him for a moment, then punched him in the face again, knocking him away. When he went flying this time, however, he grabbed Kira, and brought him into his own dimension. Now Kira moved at half the speed he normally would.
"I thought we'd switch it up," Vordus told him "Keeping things fresh. Keeping things entertaining."
"Come on, man," A slowed down Kira told him "No fourth wall breaks."
"The only thing I will break... is you!" He swung and hook punched at his son, but he leaned back, dodging the attack "Not bad." He tripped Kira, knocking him down "But you were never ready to face me alone." He jumped and fell down toward Kira, but he backrolled out of the way.
He got back up and fell against something, so he looked back and noticed that it was the window to the outside, and muttered "That might help, if only I can make him... ah!" He leaned to the right and dodged a punch to his head.
The fist broke through the window and Kira suddenly went "Oh..." Vordus lunged at him so Kira jumped back, then landed, and jumped back again, then landed, and spun, moving backwards.
Vordus yelled "Stop moving, you little pest!" He spun and swung at Kira's head, but he moved out of the way, and rolled underneath his arm.
He got back up and Vordus swung at him again, but he jumped backwards. He landed and leaned back again as Vordus punched at his nose. He took another step forward and punched at Kira again, but he ducked. Vordus looked down, then smiled, and kneed Noah in the stomach. Kira went flying backwards and crashed through the window, returning to normal speed. He got back up to his feet and saw Vordus heating up his axe again. He took his blade off of his back and blocked a fire ball from Vordus's axe. When the attack was blocked, the enderman looked at Betty, who was still being supported by Avery. Kira saw the axe move slowly and he heated the blade up again. He couldn't move fast enough to knock the axe out of his hand and the fireball was launched.
"Leave it to me," Prokaz said as he teleported in front of the fireball.
"Prokaz, no!" Avery yelled, but then the attack struck... Kira?
"What the-"
"Lemme take the hit this time," Kira told the two as the attack struck him, then he fell to his knees, then passed out.
"Okay, I'm done." Prokaz teleported above him, using his wings to keep him above the ground "Look, I didn't wanna do this, you being my dad and all, but..." he closed his eyes, then opened them again, his eye glowing a purplish red "Kira was right. It's time to end this." He created over twenty of his blasters again, aiming all of them at Vordus.
"Interesting," Vordus said as he looked up at the incoming attack.
"Just... die already!" he pointed at Vordus and commanded his skulls to attack him, all of them blasting their highly concentrated beams of light at the dark four armed man.
"I... refuse." He turned his blades flat toward the beams coming at him head on, but he couldn't block them all.
After a moment, Prokaz looked back at Ashley, who had cauterized her wounds, and she asked "Did... did we win?"
Prokaz couldn't tell, so he said "Ah... I think so..."
"Heh," Kira, who had been woken up by the flash of light and the explosion, mumbled "Next thing you know, there's just a hundred fire ba-" Suddenly, a flash of light sparked from the cloud of smoke.
"Ash, get down!" Kira yelled, and so she did.
Just as she ducked, the fireball hit Prokaz directly in the chest, but it didn't knock him back. He stood still, but they could all see he was trying to stay on his feet. He suddenly fell to his knees, then passed out.
"Prokaz!" Kira, Avery, and Betty yelled as they ran toward him.
"Prokaz... why wouldn't you-"
"Have you ever wondered about something, Ashley?" Vordus asked as he flew above them "Why do you look so different from your brothers?"
"I..." She looked down, then back up, and yelled "Shut up! You're nothing but an apparition! What do you know!?" She used her left hand to grab her spear.
"You have to have realized this at some point. Look at your hair, skin, and powers. What do they all remind you of?" He began to heat up his axe again.
"I said shut up!" She yelled at him as she swung her spear up, and pointed it at his neck "I don't care what you have to say! This is ending... now!" She used a large portion of the wall to create a gigantic lava bubble.
"If you want it to end now, let me simplify if for you." He created a massive sphere of flame "You... are not... my daughter."
The anger in Ashley's eyes faded and she asked "... What?"
"Ash, look out!" Kira yelled.
She looked up and saw the sphere coming for her so she launched her bubble at it. The two forces met and they both detonated, lava spikes being stabbed into the wall everywhere. The light from the explosion faded and Ashley was on her stomach, trying to get back up. She got to her knees, but then passed out from the exhaustion.
"Well..." Vordus sighed "You didn't put up much of a fight." he turned away from her and heated his axe up "It's really a shame that such a battle must have such an end. Really, I was hoping to be challenged by any of you, but I was not. " He turned around "Good bye." He pointed his axe's blade at her head and launched another fireball at his daughter.
She was still out cold and Betty ran forward, causing Tommy to yell "Betty! What're you doing!?"
"Im not gonna let someone else-" She jumped in front of the fireball, taking the full brunt force of the attack "Die..." She fell onto her back and died almost a second after the blast.
"Betty, no!" Prokaz yelled.
"Guys, we gotta get back home," Kira said.
"Ashley's in no condition to walk! Look at her! She's to exhausted!"
"Then I'll just get both of you through."
"Wait- wha..."
Kira grabbed him by the shoulder and teleported, then grabbed Ashley, and said "Okay... time to go." Hs ran toward the cannon and Noah knew exactly what to do, as he had done it before.
He rolled to the lever and pulled it the moment Kira was within range. He blasted them and within a moment they were gone, but Vordus was not upset. If anything, he was reveling in what he had done, not only to Ashley, but to Serenity's home, and they were about to see it.
