Hours after the fire, all of the lights went out, now, the village was consumed in a cloud of black smoke. As people rode through the burnt village wearing gas masks, they couldn't believe their eyes. Everyone they came across was dead. They checked every room in every house, there had been no survivors. Anyone who may have gotten out of the village was missing, so presumed dead. In all, over seven hundred people lost their lives in this village and who knows how many people escaped. This village had housed over a thousand people, and it had been taken down in a single night. Serenity rode along side Ashley, who was still waiting for a new arm. She looked at her older friend and saw something in her eyes. A look she hadn't seen before in them. Hopelessness. She had always been so hopeful that they could win... but now, she just watched her second home burn into nothing but a monument. After all, that was what the Council of the Elite wanted to do with the village now that it had been destroyed. While Ashley was on the council, she couldn't convince them to rebuild. Kira was nowhere to be seen, still shaken after what had happened at the village. Ashley was thinking about something else, however... what Vordus had said during their fight on Earth.
'You are not my daughter.' What did it mean?
They kept walking, seeing not only human bodies on the ground now. They saw a few deflated ghasts, zombies, a couple endermen, and even an ender dragon. They passed by the area where Kira had fought off all of the monsters and saw the carnage he had caused. Most were impressed by how many he was able to beat, but Serenity didn't like it one bit. She hated hearing Kira tear people apart. She had seen bits and pieces of the fight while they were running through the forest to the village. What he was doing had scared her, the fact that he went that viscous on monsters who posed no threat to him. They walked passed Sora, her body had been fused with the ground. Prokaz had gotten the same treatment and they all saw that the axe and sword were gone. Serenity and Ashley looked at one another, confused and a little bit afraid. They grabbed all the bodies they could find that were still recognizable and buried them with the remains of their houses. Sora was buried where she was because they couldn't figure out how to move her. They did the same with Prokaz. After they buried everyone, the search party dispersed and the Council of the Elite held a meeting in the redesigned Entity_303 Tower. After they had all come into the meeting room and made sure everyone was there, they got to the point immediately.
Cyber Dog, who had been told of the situation when he came back into Minecraft, slammed his fists against the table and yelled "This is unbelievable!" He looked around at them, his fellow elite "Capital Village was the biggest in this world. Aside from cities, that was the most populated area in the Overworld. Somehow, though, it was taken to the ground in under a day."
"We checked the village after it stopped burning," Ashley pointed out "When we got there, only death awaited us. Bodies, burnt homes. Nothing but carnage and destruction."
"That was my home!" Serenity, who was there because her mother was dead, exclaimed "But when we got there, they were all dead... they were slaughtered. I don't know why someone would do this."
"Why'd they choose this village to make a point in though?" Cyber Dog wondered, cupping his chin with his hand "Wouldn't any slaughter of a village make it clear that we're still at war?"
"Didn't Vordus say he needed Dreadlord's weapons?" Cyber Dog asked "That's at least what Kira told me."
"Yeah, he did. Only problem with that is that we've never had them in the first place," Serenity pointed out "We buried them somewhere in The Nether! Kira only said he could've asked because we didn't have them."
"So he attacked a town full of innocent people, men, women, and children, and he wasn't even there for most of it," Ashley growled, leaning her right shoulder against the wall "How very courageous of him."
"He was fighting you three," Serenity reminded her.
"We was keeping us busy," Ashley rephrased "He knew if we got there too soon, we'd be able to stop the fire and save more people."
They heard footsteps coming toward the door and it suddenly opened, showing Kira, standing with Prokaz's sword in his hand "It's been an honor of this council, ever since before we were all born, to bury our dead. Let their souls drift into Aether. However, this isn't what you all did today! Today, what you had to do was bury innocent people, who had no part in a war they didn't choose to be in the crosshairs of! The End is now our enemy as well as every other monster. We can not let them get Dread's weapons, we have no idea what they could want them for."
The only remaining three people left in the council were silent for a moment, taking in the elegant words Kira had just spoke, then Cyber Dog "I can't belive I'm saying this, but Kira... that was really wise." He looked back at the girls "He's right. We don't know how much more genocide they'll feel they need to commit."
"That... wasn;t the only recent genocide that's happened recently..." Ashley muttered, causing them to look over at her "We... caused the extinction of skeletons." Everyone was shocked.
"Wh- what?" Serenity stammered "You... how?"
"Well, apparently Dread had been holding a spell on the bones of the dead, letting them love again. When he was gone... they all fell apart again, just... dead." She gripped what was left of her arm as they all starred at her, aside from Kira, who was just looking down at the sword.
"Ashley... I... I don't know what to say," Cyber Dog told her.
"Yeah, I understand that. Listen, if you all think we're dangerous or anything, we can leave, it's just-" Cyber Dog suddenly hugged her.
"Ashley, I know you would never do that on purpose. Yes, you meant to kill one, horrible, evil, individual. Someone like you, someone like Kira, or even Prokaz, from what I knew from him, would never have done that if you knew you would do that." Ashley stayed quiet, just letting him talk "You are dangerous, we all are, but that doesn't change who you are. You've been like a sister to me, and Kira like a brother... when he wasn't trying to kill me."
"Heh," Kira chuckled, giving a light grin, then he turned, and looked out the window, over the central city of the world.
"I would never tell you to go. You two have to stay, we need all the help we can get, and staying together will help us remember that not all is lost." He gripped her a little tighter "I don't wanna see either of you hurt, but I know you can't stay away from danger at this level." He backed off "I know there's no point in telling you two to stay out of this, but I just wanted to give you the option."
"He killed our brother," Kira reminded him "Burnt our home. He killed the first person I've ever seen as a mother." He turned away from the window he was staring out of and they all saw that his eye was glowing purple while his cracked one flickered with white light "Like I told the girls... this all means war. I've had it with these devils thinking they can walk all over us." Everyone was genuinely surprised and a little scared at how intense Kira's glare and words were "We're at war, and this isn't gonna end until every last one of his army is dead, or until we are." His glared was so intense the purple light seemed to be sucking the light out of the room.
"K-Kira... while I don't... necessarily disagree with you..." Cyber Dog started slowly, taking steps toward Kira as to not anger him even more "I just think... there's another way... this can end. We don't need... to kill... everything... we come across... that is trying to kill us." The grip on Prokaz's sword became much more intense "How about this... we take Dreadlord's weapons from wherever the people in the village buried it in The Nether... then, we keep it in the Ender Catacombs. There, we can make sure they're out of his reach, because you two live right above it... and now, I guess Seri does as well."
Kira seemed to consider all of his options, then sighed, the gow in his eyes subsiding, then he replied "Yeah... yeah I guess that could work." He stabbed the sword into his sheathe on his back "Now... if there a landmark you remember where we can start looking for them?" He looked at Serenity.
"Uh... yeah."
Back in The End, Vordus was watching a his soldiers moved around in the old Void Walker cave. Since Entity_369 had been destroyed, the Void Walkers had moved full up above the surface of The End. now their home was completely abandoned because no one had a reason to keep it up. It had been the perfect place to make a hide out and convince other endermen to come to his side of the war.
"Alright, everyone!" The massive enderman exclaimed to the room of over a hundred endermen "We have a lot of work to be doing, so I need everyone to listen!" They all quieted down "Now, my son told me that the weapons are buried in The Nether. The problem with that information is that he never specified where in that accursed hell hole." He lowered a fist and looked out at them again "You've all be segmented into teams, and these are the people who you will be partnered with to find the weapons." He pointed at them "Alpha, Omega, Delta. These are the teams. Everyone, get to know your new teammates and get to work on the weapons."
An enderman turned to the enderwoman next to him and said "Uh... hi. I'm Jazzar."
"Oh, it's nice to meet you," She replied "I' m Gestafine."
"Oh, hey. I worked on the Dragon Island," Another enderman said to another "I was one of the guys who lit the crystals."
"Ah," The enderman next to him replied "I just worked on getting food from that village. They were actually really nice. Too bad we had to burn it down."
"Did you hear what happened to the endermen and everyone else who stayed in that burning hellscape?" Someone asked "Kira Sendo showed them now mercy. He attacked them without hesitation."
"He's a monster-"
"He's too dangerous to live-"
"We need to-"
"-Put and end to-"
Vordus watched the army start to descend into hating Kira, and soon, his friends. They all stood up in unison and yelled that they were ready to begin their search. Vordus smiled, then he turned, and pointed his axe at the door, telling his army to charge.
