After a few hours, the train stopped and Avery told them "Okay, this is the place." They all got up, Serenity stretching from being slumped against Tommy for about a half hour, and they opened the doors.
"Welp, does sound like the big city," Kira said "Should we be able to blend into the crowd?"
"Yes and no," Avery replied "yes, because this is where most people hang out uring the day... no, because now most people can see you guys and will tell the military you're here."
"So we still gave a chance of getting caught."
"Yes, but let's be honest. Who's gonna go 'Hm... those people look familiar,' and stop to see you guys long enough to actually tell? Exactly, no one," Tommy told them "For now, let's get inside." They walked up the steps and out into the bright city again.
The place was still bustling with people, no matter how bad the situation was. People still went from store to store to buy food and supplies for their families, people still took cars to work. Everyone was acting as though they weren't hunting for very dangerous people... because they were. They all seemed to be relaxed with the current way their lives were.
"Huh... didn't expect to be this unnoticed," Ashley admitted as they walked toward a very tall building.
Colored white with tinted windows so no one could look into the room. As they got closer, they realized that the building was surrounded by a large metal wall. It was thick and clearly had a lot of machinery inside. Avery pressed a button and a part of the wall opened up. From the circle in the wall, a robotic arm protruded from inside with a tiny black sphere with glass at the front attacked to it. The sphere was pointed down at Avery and it ran a green light over her, scanning her to make sure of who she was. She was given a pass and the wall began to fall into the ground. When it was fully retracted, they all walked in and found themselves in their new home for the time being. Kira watched as the wall rose back up and magnetically held itself in place. When he turned back around, he noticed that the others had left him. He simply started walking, then teleported next to Avery, who was leading them through the area. Even though they said there was enough room for everyone, there were still more than he had thought. There was practically everyone they had met in this world, and they had met a lot of people. Mark and Noah were in the hotel's private dojo. The Bella and Amanda were in the pool around back. Everyone else was somewhere else in the hotel.
"So, here it is. Our little fortress of a base. It's got everything, like..." Avery cleared her throat, then began using her announcer voice "The pool area with heated pools at night! Luxury bath rooms with state of the art butt wipes! Gourmet kitchen to make anything you want! A mini bar to get drunk off your ass... for Ashley of course. More luxury bathrooms with more comfortable toilets and even more butt wipes! A bunch of giant T.V.s to keep everyone entertained! There's one more thing though, so come on, everyone." They walked into the tallest tower on the massive campus and the group all flooded into the elevator.
"Alright, we're going to the best part now," Tommy told his friends "You're all gonna love this." He pressed a button at the top of the rows of buttons "We've got it all ready for you." They reached the top and stepped out.
"I present... the luxury Endrian Suite!" Avery exclaimed as they stepped out of the box they had been lifted in.
There was everything about all of them everywhere they looked. Swords and spears for the two siblings, torches and lanterns for Serenity. As they walked through the rooms, they saw all of their favorite colors. Kira got black and red with just a touch of purple, which he very much appreciated. He jumped onto his bed and found it to be just as firm as his old bed back in The End. There was a full blown carbon recreation of Serenity's room from her village. When she saw it, her eyes welled up with tears and she turned to Tommy and Avery. She wrapped her arms around the two and buried her face in Avery's shoulder, crying happily into their shoulders. Ashley saw the colors of The Nether in her room which made her remember the fortress in which she lived with herobrine and her brother. When she entered the room, she let out a satisfied sigh and looked back at her friends. She nodded to them and Tommy smiled, leading Avery out of the door while closing it behind them.
"I hope they don't find this place for a while," Tommy told her as they walked toward the elevator "They need a time to just be able to chill."
"I understand, and I agree, but you need to remember if we get raided, we don't have any weapons aside from the ones in there," Avery reminded him.
"That doesn't matter," He told her "Just let them rest for now."
The next morning
Ashley woke up and say up in her new bed, raising her arms above her head and yawning. When he lowered her arms down, she got out of bed, and walked to the bathroom in her room. After she used the toilet, and had to admit that Avery had been right about the toilet paper, she looked in the mirror. The beautiful Endrian hybrid looked like she had been through hell. Why was she always hearing that? Herobrine had told her she looked like it, now she herself was thinking it. Did she really look that bad? Was she really that exhausted from what had been going on in her life?
She sighed and told herself "I just need a bath." She took everything off and ran the water.
While she relaxed in her jetted tub, Kira was already up and exploring the entire place. The campus of the hotel was massive and he intended to see everything. By this time, he had already seen the pool area, saw people swimming, all of which he knew. He found the bar and decided to try some alcohol. The moment it touches his tounge, he swallowed it and and then threw the glass away. That had been the most disgusting thing he had ever had the misfortune of putting in his mouth, and that was after eating rotten flesh! He just assumed it was more for adults. He left the bar, then kept walking through the place. He went out to a balcony and saw Noah and Bella walking around, so he decided to go ask where everything is. He didn't teleport because there were giant obelisks in the sky, of which their function he knew not. For all he knew they could be energy detectors and teleporting gives off a unique energy. If he was right they would find them all in seconds. He decided to take a risk and jumped down to them, using his grapple to slow his fall until they noticed him. When they did look up, he retracted his grapple and fell down toward them. He used his power of flight to stop himself just before he hit the ground. When he landed, he began to talk to the two.
As the Endrians were doing their own things, Serenity was still fast asleep. Her sheets were still wrapped around her as the young redhead slept. Her movements were big, but not enough to knock the blankets off of her. She hadn't slept in a few days, so this room was everything she needed. The torches and lanterns were nice, the fact that her room was an exact remake of her old one made her feel like she was at home again. Over all, this was the place she needed while she was being hunted. As the girl slept, room service came in because her door had been left unlocked. When the woman came in, she took the sheets, put them in the cart, and put new ones on the small girl. She smiled as the girl's body moved to ensnare herself in the blankets again. The woman left and the girl didn't wake up for over an hour.
When she finally did wake up, she put some new clothes on, a simple pair of black yoga pants and a red t-shirt with... something she didn't expect to see here! They had brought her jacket from Minecraft! She didn't know what to say, so because no one was there she didn't say anything. Her hands shook as she grabbed the jacket out of her wardrobe. It was just as soft as she remembered it, making her feel all warm inside again. She pulled her arms through the sleeves and flipped her hair over top of the hood. She looked down at herself and smiled, then went to go put her shoes on. When he boots were on, she walked out of her room to go find Avery and Tommy. After about fifteen minutes, she found Tommy, so she tapped him on the shoulder.
He turned around and smiled, then asked "So, you found the other surprise we had gotten for you?" She smiled at him, then hugged him again.
"Thank you, Cyber Dog," She told him as she proceeded to seeming try and crush his ribs and spine "Thank you so much!"
He hugged the short girl back and replied "It's no problem, Seri, we wanted you guys to feel at home here, because that's what this place will be until this all comes to an end." She let go of him and smiled up at her friend, then they walked off and talked, exploring the entire place.
