Game Over

Chapter 21

When the smoke settled, Dreadlord walked toward the helicopter, or... what was left of it. When he heard something move, he stopped. Kira was lifting a burning piece of the helicopter off of himself with his mechanical arm. He pushed it off of himself and stood up, shakily. Dreadlord could see that he was completely beaten down at this point. He could see a lot of skin, blood, and not a lot of armor left. He glared at him, and Kira's cracked, blind eye was exposed out of his helmet's cracks. The boy took a step forward, but he suddenly fell to one knee, glaring up at Dreadlord with his biological hand over a wound on his stomach.
"You've fought valiantly, Kira," He told him "And you've been beaten down, yet still standing tall." Kira stood up and took another step toward him again "And you still have all the respect you deserve for that. However, you'll never be able to defeat me, all of my new army is standing with me, however you... you're standing alone." As if they all heard him, every enderman from The End and the ones in the city all teleported in behind him.
"Oh... come on!" Kira groaned as he took a few more steps forward, walking out of the wreckage he was still standing in.
Kira's beathing was heavy as he looked out at the vast army behind Dreadlord. He knew that this could very well cause the extinction of endermen. He also knew this could mean the end of everything else. He knew every endermen that was alive, and taking part of the war, was behind Dreadlord. There were so many that he lost count. If he was at one hundred percent, the only one he'd need to worry about would've been Dreadlord. In the state he was in however, he was barely able to move. That was probably because of the armor he was wearing which was barely even protecting anything anymore.
He was about to charge at them, but then a blinding white light shined from behind him. The glow was so intense that Dreadlord even had to look away to stop himself from going blind. Kira turned around and looked at the light, trying to see who it was. When he saw who it was, however, he was completely shocked.
"Her... Herobrine?" He asked, to which the translucent being nodded.
"I didn't come alone," he added, then he pointed behind Kira.
Dreadlord just watched as two more beings walked next to Kira, one he recognized. It was Prokaz, his chest still held the wound from Vordus's axe. He stood tall however, as if he didn't even notice the wound. Next to him stepped a woman with a glowing bow and Kira knew who it was. This was Sora, the mother of the best archer he knew, and also his best friend. She looked over at him and smiled with a slight nod. Another glow gleamed from behind him and he saw his oldest friend. Tristen looked back at him and gave him a nod, then glared out at the army in front of him.
"Okay! Who else could you have possibly-"
"Hey." A gentle, familiar voice stopped Kira from talking immediately "Turn around."
Kira slowly turned around and he saw someone he didn't ever expect to see again as long as he lived. She was wearing a dark brown shirt that left her shoulders exposed. She had shorts and black shoes on with a spear in her hand.
"I'm gone for a few weeks and you already forget me?" Ashley asked "Take the helmet off. Lemme see your face again." Kira looked down.
"Ash... I dunno if you wanna see what's underneath this thing."
She sighed and replied "Kira, I know what you look like. You're the face I've known my entire life. So just give me a second." She gently grabbed what was left of his helmet and took it off of him.
What she found... was exactly what she expected to see, her brother. Sure, his face was beaten, bruised, and bloody, but aside from that, she saw no difference. She spun her spear onto her back and pulled him into a tight hug. He was surprised for a moment, then he reciprocated the hug. He buried his head into her shoulder, beginning to cry silent tears for a few seconds, then he pulled back from the hug, smiling up at his older sister. She smiled down at him, then they turned around when they heard footsteps coming.
CyberDog and the police were walking back towards them, standing with Kira and the ghosts. Morse soldiers walked with Serenity who stood a top the wreckage. More and more police officers and soldiers began to gather behind all of them. The more Kira saw, the more he realized that he had a near endless army. Mick, who was still bloody, stood at Kira's side, but on the other side than Ashley. He looked back at Kira and nodded to the girl, then the army, who was still coming, up behind him.
As Dreadlord looked at the army, Kira yelled "Oh, you are so screwed now!" With that, he removed what was left of his armor, he had no more use for it, so now he was in what was left of his normal clothes "Alright everyone!" He looked behind him, then back at Dreadlord, pointed, and said calmly "We're in the endgame now."
Suddenly, Prokaz let out a yell, then Ashley, and soon everyone was charging through the wreckage of the school. They were all tired of this war and just wanted it to end as quickly as possible. There were almost no weapons except for the ones that the ghosts were wielding, yet still, no one backed down. Dreadlord just watched as his army ran past him. The endermen army was vast, but Kira's army was practically never ending. More and more people came in to help them. Dreadlord realized that this could actually be a battle that could end an entire race. He hated Kira's family because of what Ceris had done, but he didn't want to kill every enderman. However, stopping this now was not an option, as both armies clashed.
An enderman grabbed a soldier and flipped him onto his back, then stomped on his head. A police officer ran, rolled, and used his legs to knock an enderman backwards before jumping back up. An enderman punched at a student who had survived, but she grabbed the arm of the creature. She kicked it in the shoulder, then stomped on its elbow, breaking it. Tristen took out his diamond sword and stabbed it through an enderman's back. He tore it out and the creature fell to the ground. A soldier grabbed an enderman by the back of the head and punched him in the throat. He let the creature go and he fell to the ground. A police officer grabbed the arm of an enderman and threw him down onto his back. Ashley rolled and kicked, knocking an enderman into the helicopter wreckage. A soldier grabbed an unconscious student and carried her out of the battle. Herobrine jumped away from a punch from an enderman, landing on a dead student. Tristen used his ice magic to freeze a few endermen, then shattered them with one clean hit from his sword. Ashley used her lava powers to shower a group of ten endermen in lava, killing them all instantly. Herobrine was being charged again, but he teleported behind the enderman. Before he could even react, Herobrine plunged his sword through the black creature's back.
"Have at thee!" CyberDog yelled as he and Prokaz led another group of about fifty soldiers and police officers into the battle.
Ashley backed away from an enderman with a sword and Herobrine blasted him with lightning. Ashley looked back and nodded, then showered the next enderman in more lava bubbles. Prokaz used his telekinesis to throw and enderman up into the air, which gave Kira and opening to kick him. The boy landed with his dead family and they turned to see Dreadlord walking through the battle.
A soldier punched him in the chest, to which he punched the soldier through the chest. He threw the body off of his arm and proceeded to spin, knocking away anyone around him. He grabbed a police officer and threw her into the burning helicopter wreck.
Kira teleported in front of him, followed by his family, and asked "Do you wanna fight all of them, or just me?" With a grin.
"Let's finish this the way we started. Together. Alone."
"Fine by me." He turned to his family "I'll see you all around... okay?" They all nodded, and they spirits suddenly flowed into him, healing a lot of his wounds "Alright... now." He turned back to Dreadlord, his eyes glowing bright white "Let's go." He charged and tackled Dreadlord into the sky again.
CyberDog and Mick saw this and called to Avery, who responded "I'm staying to help out here. You two go to city hall! Now!" They nodded and ran.
Kira threw Dreadlord onto a train station platform, slamming his back against the reinforced glass. Kira landed a few inches in front of him and grabbed him by the neck. He picked Dreadlord up and threw him across the platform. When he landed, Kira used all of his lightning power left to sent a blast of lightning down through the roof of the platform. Not only did the lightning do a lot of damage, the roof collapsed on top of Dreadlord.
Kira raised back up into the air and asked "Is it over..." he saw no movement, but he knew Dreadlord could teleport, do he stayed alert.
Just as he thought about Dreadlord's teleportation, he reappeared behind him. As he turned around, Dreadlord punched him in the stomach. Kira went flying backwards and landed on a bank roof.
He looked up and yelled "Oh shit!" As he rolled away from Dreadlord, trying to land on him.
He got back up and hook punched Dreadlord in the side of the neck. Dreadlord staggered back, giving Kira another opportunity to punch him twice in the nose. Dreadlord leaned away from the next punch and kneed Kira in the stomach. He punched him in the side of the head, then grabbed Kira by the throat. He lifted him up and threw him to the edge of the roof.
"Why do you continue to fight, instead of joining me?" he asked "You death by my hand is inevitable, so just give in. This... is... inevitable."
"No..." Kira got up, holding fire over his stomach "This... is... game over." The two charged at each other again and Kira tackled him, pulling him through the air toward city hall.
Mick and CyberDog got out of his car and raced into the building. CyberDog kicked the door down and they ran into the room where Noah and Mark had brought the machine. The two looked up as they finished configuring the machine.
"You two, get to safety," Mick told them.
"But... we need to make sure the machine works as intended," Mark reminded him.
"Just tell me what to do. You two can't be in here when those two are here! Kira just got a power up, and that skeleton thing was always on another level of power."
"Fine, just press this button when Dreadlord's in the machine. That's all that's left to do. You sure you're gonna be okay?" Noah replied.
"Yes, I'll be fine. Just get out of here." The two nodded and ran away from the building.
When they got outside though, Noah held out his arm and let Mark's shoulder run into it, then he pointed into the sky. They looked up and saw Kira flying directly to the building. He tackled Dreadlord through it and the two decided to go back in. They came in to see Kira getting up from his knees and Dreadlord running toward Kira.
"Come on!!" Kira yelled at him.
Dreadlord punched at his head, but Kira knocked his arm away with his mechanical one. He ducked underneath a hammerfist and punched Dreadlord in the nose. He got back up and Dreadlord kneed him in the stomach, then hook punched him in the jaw. Kira involuntarily spun around and Dreadlord kicked him in the back. Kira stumbled forward and his head slammed into the wall behind him. The young warrior looked back at Dreadlord, their glowing eyes being the only reason anyone could see anything.
He spit out some blood, let out a roar, and jumped at Dreadlord, kicking him in the nose. He landed and Dreadlord punched at the bridge of Kira's nose. He blocked, then wrapped his arm, hook punching Dreadlord with his free arm. Dreadlord tried to punch him with the other arm, but Kira blocked, and wrapped again. He headbutted him in the nose two times, and growled at him, then he pushed Dreadlord back. He jumped, kicking him in the chest, then nose, then shoulder, and nose again. He landed and punched Dreadlord in the jaw. He grabbed the back of his head and slammed his head against his knee. He grabbed his back and slammed his stomach against his knee. He let him up and punched him in the jaw. He kneed him in the groin, then grabbed his arm. Kira pulled him into his back and spun around, swinging the hated creature off of his feet. He spun around one more time and threw him against the wall. Dreadlord wasn't expecting this sudden burst of energy and flew against the wall. He let out another yell and jumped, slamming his knee against Dreadlord's chest. The hit was so strong that it create another dent in the wall behind him. He grabbed him by the throat and punched him in the nose.
He took a step back and roundhouse kicked at his ribs, but Dreadlord caught the strike. Kira's eyes continued to glow purple as his adrenaline began to subside. The two glared at one another before he spun Kira around and threw him against the wall again. Kira landed where Dreadlord had and his back slammed against the hard marble surface, but he landed on his feet.
"You're gonna have to try a little harder than that!" Kira yelled at him as he charged again.
"Oh, I know." Dreadlord saw him coming and balled his fists.
He swung his fist up and uppercutted Kira in the stomach to stop him. He swung his arms up twice more and punched him two more times in the stomach. Kira went flying through the wall and crashed into a church where possibly the last service was taking place. He coughed and turned over, spitting up a mouth full of blood. He looked up at the people around him and gave a wave, then he looked up at the figure looming above him. He looked up and Kira saw his glowing red eyes, it was his old enemy. The former skeleton flew at him, throwing him out of the church and through an apartment.
"Serenity!" Avery yelled, this was the most panicked the girl had ever seen her.
"Y- yeah?"
"Look!!" they looked up and saw Kira get thrown through the city clock toward.
"Jesus... christ!"
Kira looked up to see Dreadlord standing in the hole that he had made being thrown in here. He glared down at the younger warrior, then they both flew at one another. This time though, Kira grabbed him. He spun around and threw Dreadlord through the glass of the clock. He flew out and tackled him again, brining him back to the town hall. He ran Dreadlord's back against the glass window of a building. The glass shattered, cutting into his newly fleshy back.
"Uh oh." CyberDog and Mick watched, then Mick yelled "Everybody get down!" They all jumped and Kira punched Dreadlord, sending him through yet another hole.
He fell in on his back and Kira jumped in, creating one more hole in the roof. He looked up at Dreadlord and ran toward him, grabbing him by the ankle. He pulled him into the machine and held him there so he couldn't get out. Mick watched for a moment, then ran to the lever, and flipped it. Dreadlord regained his consciousness and tried to fight against Kira. The boy would not let go, however as he was using all of his strength to keep him down. Kira knew that if he went down, then at least Dreadlord would as well. All that mattered to him anymore was dealing with the demon he had fought for years. Over a hundred years of suffering were all finally going to be undone, and he wasn't going to let this chance go. Even if what happened to him might kill him, he didn't care at that point. He'd see his family again, be able to finally be happy again. An enderman hook punched the commander down to the ground. He walked toward the commander as his master was destroyed. Kira continued to hold Dreadlord while the warlord fought against him. Avery was getting backed into a corner as she got overwhelmed. Suddenly, police chief Orami and officer Picks shot at them. The two endermen teleported away and Orami hugged his daughter. More endermen came at them and they held their guns out. Avery put her hands on their guns and told them no to this. She pulled them in and the three all embraced each other for what could have been the last time. Kira let out a loud roar and a huge explosion rocks the entire building, blowing away most of the walls, and the entire ceiling. Another blinding white light shined through the sky for a split second.
