Game Over

Chapter 11

Now that everyone had gotten settled into the resort, they needed to come up with a plan. They had a kitchen, sure, but they didn't have a life time supply of food. Their chain stopped delivering when Avery's picture was posted all over New York. after that, they had to get food from the markets around the city. They had agreed that only one, maybe two, of them would go out at a time to get food and supplies, because they were going to need more toiletries. Luckily, the stores that sold the high quality toilet paper were still in business and Avery knew all of them. At this point, the only difficulty, would be the military skulking around.
"Okay, guys, here's what we're gonna do for the day," Avery explained "I'll go get food and Noah, you and Mark watch my back, and if I do get caught, act as a distraction."
"I... Avery, if we act as a distraction, we don't know what might happen. They may bring us in for questioning, or just kill us, are we really willing to risk each other's lives?" Mark asked.
"Listen, I know we're all scared, so am I," Avery replied "But I need you guys to do this. If I get caught, get them off me, then we all run in separate directions. That's always been the plan, alright?"
"Fine!" Noah exclaimed "Let's just get this the hell over with."
They all got ready, putting on their clothes for outside of the resort. Avery put on a black shirt and a camo jacket with tight grey jeans. Noah put on his usual tshirt and sweatpants with a dark green jacket tied around his waist. Mark simply put on back jeans, a red tank top, and a baseball cap. When they were ready to go, the three left for the elevator while everyone else stayed behind. They watched from their room's balconies as the three left the resort property. When they entered the crowd, the rest of the group all just went back to their normal activities. Ashley went to the pool while Serenity joined Kira in the dojo. While he taught her a new jump spin kick, Ashley showed Bella how to do a triple backflip, half twist into the pool without splashing any water.
The three went in separate directions, Avery walking toward a stand with a paper bag while Mark and Noah walked behind a bush to conceal themselves. They made sure they were in a position where they could see both Avery and the military around them. The two watched as Avery continued to pick out and pay for food.
"You ever just kinda... stare at her ass?" Mark asked as they watched her, and of course she was bent over so her butt was in full view of them.
"What? Uh, no! Maybe? Sometimes... yeah." Mark gave him a smirk "What!? She's hot and you just admitted to it too!" He exclaimed.
"Yeah, bro, I get it. " They looked back at her again "Glad we're not wearing earpieces right now, or this would be really awkward."
"Yeah, I can agree with you there." They kept an eye on her, and every so often let their gazes drift down a little bit.
Avery, was clueless, and continued to pay for the food until for another minute before grabbing the bag. She looked back at the two an gave the signal. They popped their heads out of the bush and flashed her a thumbs up, so they went out to another store. After about five hours, they returned, not having to deal with any military. They got back into the hotel, they got to the dining floor, and took all of the food out of the bag. When they put it all in cabinets or the fridges they called everyone over.
"Alright, guys," Avery said "this is what we managed to snag. It should last us a couple of days, but since there's a lot of us here, we'll need to go out again for a few more days straight, that way if they notice us, no one will be able to be caught the next day. The only ones in real danger are the people who get the food, so they'll switch out every day."
"So, who's going tomorrow?" Kira asked.
"How about me?" Ashley asked "Yeah, this place is nice, butI don't wanna be stuck here continuously. We are the main targets, but I can take any of them in a fight, I should be find."
"Alright." Avery looked at Noah and Mark again "You two actually did a good job watching my back earlier, so I'm gonna leave you two as guards, okay?"
"Yeah, that's fine," Noah agreed.
"I'm down," Mark added.
"Then it's settled, tomorrow, we have the same routine, just me instead of Avery," Ashley told them, and then they all went their separate ways.
Ashley went into her room and changed back into her swimming attire. That simply comprised of a black bikini that was outlined by maroon fabric. She walked out of her room with a towel over her shoulders and went into the elevator.  As she walked? She passed by Noah and Mark, who were talking on the couch. As she passed by, she swung her head, moving the hair away from her face. She looked at the two and waved before walking into the elevator and going down to the pool.
Just to be safe, Mark waited about a minute before turning back to Noah and asking "Alright, we both stare at her ass, right?"
"Oh, god yeah," Noah replied "I just kinda tend to stare at her."
"Dude, so do I!" Mark replied "Mainly, her ass and belly. My... god, she is sexy."
"I agree with you a hundred percent. You wanna head to our room to watch her from the balcony?"
"Uh... actually, I think that'd be a little creepy. Maybe we should just head down to the pool ourselves, swim around with her or something?"
"Yeah, come to think of it. I think that would definitely be a better idea," Noah agreed "Come on, let's go!" They got their swimming clothes on and went down to the pool.
When they got there, they saw Ashley swimming back and forth. Her movements were smooth and the water moved around her elegantly as she moved. They noticed the robotic arm that had been installed on what was left of her right one was completely coated in stainless steel so that the mechanisms wouldn't rust. They watched her swim for about fifteen minutes before she stopped, putting her elbows on the pool's edge. She turned, leaning the top of her back against the edge of the pool. She let out a sigh and leaned her head back, looking up into the night sky. She looked around and saw the two just standing there.
"Hey, you two," She called, but not loud enough to wake people up "Come in, water's warm, and we all need to relax before tomorrow." They nodded and jumped in with her, swimming around before she called them over again "Hey, could we talk for a minute?"
"Uh... sure." The two swam over to her and they all threaded water as they talked.
"So... I've noticed you two staring at me constantly," Ashley told them bluntly.
"I! Uh... yeah..."
"Sorry," Noah apologized "It's just-"
"It's fine, guys," She told them "Seriously, you guys wanna stare? You guys can go ahead. Tristen's not around to beat the crap out of you and I'm too tired to even give a shit at this point. The only thing I don't wanna see? You two coming in when I'm in the shower. That happens, we have a problem, and trust me... you don't want a problem with me, or my brother."
"Oh, trust me, we're aware," Mark said.
"Yeah, that fight at the school, and every other fight we've seen you guys in proves that point flawlessly," Noah agreed "You guys are forces of nature, alright? You are not to be fucked with!"
"Good, we're all on the same page," Ashley told them with a tired and in the darkness almost invisible smile "You guys want me to show you everything I can do with my powers?"
"That would be great!" Noah exclaimed.
"I agree... but I think the glow would attract attention to us, so I think it would be safer to do that in the day."
"Alright, well in that case." Ashley turned and pulled herself out of the pool "You two wanna join me in the hot tub?" She turned around and looked down at them.
"Uh... I think I'm gonna head to bed," Mark replied "This was a nice talk though. Seeya two in the morning." He pulled himself out of the pool, much less smoothly than Ashley had, grabbed his towel, and walked into the hotel to go back up to his room.
"Noah? You coming, or gonna head upstairs?"
"Uh... I think I'm gonna hang out with you for a little bit."
"Alright..." She reached her robotic hand down for him to grab, so he did "Let's go!" She pulled him up until she could get a firm hold with her other hand, then she grabbed his back, and hoisted him up completely out of the water "Come on." She began to walk toward the small house which held the hot tub.
"Wow..." Noah said under his breath as he watched her hips sway as she walked, then she turned around, continuing to walk.
"You coming or what?" She asked with a grin.
"Huh? Oh... yeah!" He followed after her quickly, getting in the tub with Ashley, and being in heaven for the next few hours before they both went up to their rooms.

The Next Morning

Noah woke up in his usual night clothes and wondered if last night really happened, or if it was just a dream. He got out of his bed and stretched, feeling how sore his muscles were. He assumed it was real, or maybe he had just been very active in his sleep. When he was done stretching, he opened his door, and walked into the hallway. No one else was awake, or maybe they were just still in bed. He looked down on his bed side table to try and see what time it was. He was surprised when it turned out the time was only six thirty in the morning. He walked over to his table, grabbed his phone and head phones and walked out of his room. He firstly went to the elevator and took the box up to the Endrian Suite. He got there and walked down the hall to the rooms. Luckily, the rooms were very easy to identify. Serenity's, which was the first when you came out of the elevator, was made of the same wood as in her village back in the computer. Kira's room had a giant dragon edged into the black wall, Noah still had no idea what his room was made out of, but Kira seemed to like it so it meant nothing to him. Ashley's room was the one closest to the edge which was colored like The Nether. Noah knocked on the door, but he didn't get an answer.
"Wait, why... oh right. She's a heavy sleeper." He turned the knob and walked in... and was immediately glad she wasn't awake at the moment.
So, it turned out that last night did actually happen and Ashley confirmed it. She hadn't even gotten changed into her night clothes, she had just fallen asleep in her swimming gear. Her hair was still wet, causing steam to rise up from the flames that made up her hair. She wasn't even underneath a blanket, just laying on top of her bed. Her body was just spread out on the bed... which was how she normally slept so that didn't ring any flags. He backed out of the room slowly and closed the door, and Ashley had know idea that happened.
