Game Over

Chapter 14

Vordus stepped out of the elevator and greeted Ashley with "Our paths cross once again, false daughter!"
"Yeah, they have, but this time I know what I am! You and Ceris both loved me, but then I got turned into this... because you couldn't just let me die!"
Vordus growled at her, then snarled "Do you know what your mother and I felt when you died? When you were snuffed out!?" Ashley showed no signs of remorse "I had never seen her so upset, and I was as well!"
"That doesn't matter anymore!" Ashley yelled at him "You've never really been a father to me! I knew you for three years, then Herobrine saved us from that hell hole of a battle! He's the one who's been a father to me... and Kira."
"Oh, and let me guess. That human woman who Kira watched me kill was who you considered your mother!?" He spat.
"I..." She thought about his words, then looked up at him, grinned, showing her new jagged teeth, and replied "Yeah... yeah she was."
"Well... if you don't want to end up like those others... stand aside." He threw his axe to the ground and two endermen walked to his sides "While you are a target, I will give you this one chance to live." He used his top two arms to grab Dreadlord's sword and spear "Let me though... or die by his blades."
Ashley was shocked for a moment, then asked "How... how'd you find those?"
Vordus chuckled, then replied "Well, while an obsidian floor is difficult to get through, it wasn't bedrock. We broke it the old fashioned away. Enchanted diamond pickaxes. When we found the weapons, I decided on what I wanted to do with them before my ultimate goal."
"Lemme guess... you wanted to kill one of us before using them for... whatever you wanted to do, right?" Ashley groaned.
"How perceptive," Vordus told her "However, you're correct. I now know who I will kill... you... then your brother... and finally, that little redhead, simply because I killed her mother, I think it'd be fitting."
"Well... I know I'd never hurt my father... kind of father," Ashley told him as she spun her spear in her hand "But you threaten my family... my brother... I'll gladly kill you, Vordus." She used her lava power to turn her spear's tip into magma.
"Hah! Very well then," Vordus told her as he got into a battle stance "Goodbye, false daughter."
He took a step forward and sent a fireball at her, the sphere colliding with her before she could move out of the way. She went flying back against the wall and he charged at her! She got up from where she was sitting and jumped away from Vordus. He stabbed at her stomach, but she moved quickly enough, rolling out of the way, and letting the sword stab through the wall. As Kira continued to try to break through the door, Serenity watched the fight, or what she could see, through the stab hole when Vordus pulled the blade out. Admittedly, she couldn't see anything, but she could hear the two fighting. Vordus spun, swinging both weapons down at Ashley's head, which she blocked with her spear's pole. When he landed and she regained her balance from the attack he jumped onto his hands.
"What the f-" He swung and kicked her in the face with both feet sending her flying into the living room "Oh, what the hell!" She crashed over the table and landed on her back.
"Stings doesn't it?" Vordus asked as he got back up to his feet.
"How much longer is this fight going to take!?" She asked him.
She got back up, her back facing him, and before she could turn around, he gave her a calm kick to the spine. Now this was dead center in her spine, so this slowed her down, and by a noticeable rate. She began to breathe heavily as she turned around to face him, her eyes narrowed. He grinned at her, then rushed at her, and swung the sword at her neck. She jumped back, then spun, swinging her spear at his legs. He jumped over her attack, front flipping over her weapon. He spun in the air to be able to face her when he got back to the floor. She saw this and spun around to swing at his head when he landed. When he landed, however, he sent a blast of fire from his feet. Ashley went flying backwards, almost crashing through a window! Luckily, the glass was double reinforced and bullet proof, which is why the helicopter couldn't do anything to them while they were inside. She took a few deep breaths, getting up off of her knees, and glared up at her approaching enemy. She continued to breathe heavily as she looked down. She closed her eyes and shook her head while bearing her teeth. She looked up and stood at he full height again.
"Come on!" She screamed as she spun, swinging the edge of her blade at Vordus's throat.
He put the spear on his back and blocked the attack, and pushed her weapon away. She glared up at him and pushed the blunt end of her spear up, slamming it against his nose. He staggered back for a moment, then stabbed down at her chest. She leaned out of the way, then jumped away with a spin so she could face him from a different angle. The moment she landed, she grabbed her spear's pole with both hands, and blocked a slash upward at her face. Ashley and Vordus's faces got so close to each other they could smell the other's breath. After a couple seconds, Ashley pulled her spear away and used the momentum to jump, spin, and kick Vordus directly in the center of the nose. She landed and immediately ducked underneath a swing to her head. As he jumped over her, he took the spear off of his back again.
"You're fast," Vordus complimented her "Wish this could've happened last time we fought, too!"
She didn't respond, instead, she just spun back around and saw the spear at his head. He stapped her attack away with his own spear, then swung at her head again. She managed to bring her spear back up, and just in time, too, because the moment their weapons met, Ashley was thrown backwards. He teleported to her and swung at her neck again. She stood up and blocked and once again, was pushed a foot or two back by the attack. She regained her balance and spun her spear in her hand against. He took a step forward, putting the spear back on his back. He jumped, spun, and swung at his false daughter's neck. She took another step back and he landed, their weapons clashing again. She was pushed back again and she realized that she wasn't going to win this fight.
"What's wrong, Ashley?" Vordus asked "You seem less eager to fight."
"Yeah, yeah... let's just get this over with," She told him.
"Hm... fine then." He took the spear off of his back again and jumped, swinging at her neck.
"Yeah, could you not?" She asked as she leaned back, underneath the attack "Just... just don't." She blocked a swing from the spear, then the sword, then Vordus spun around, and she closed her eyes.
Kira finally kicked the door down and ran to the living room where he found Ashley bleeding on the floor. She knelt down to her and picked her limp body up in his arms. She looked up at him and gave him a sad smile. She lifted her mechanical arm up and touched his face, her eyes beginning to dim. When she finally died, her smile stayed on her face. Her arm fell away from him and her hair stopped glowing. Kira close his eyes, letting out silent tears as he held his sister's dead body. He was so busy with what he was doing that he didn't even notice the axe coming for him! He looked up and saw the axe flying toward him, impaling him with the tips. He went flying back and was pinned to the wall. Vordus appeared in front of him and Kira's fear, sadness, dread... it all turned into rage... pure, never before seen... anger.
Vordus teleported in front of him, so he grabbed the flat of the axe's head, and looked up, growling "You monster..." He took a few deep, enraged, raspy breaths "You'll pay for this..." He looked up into Vordus's eyes "Oh yeah... you'll... pay for that!!!" He crushed the axe's blade in is grip, causing the hilt to fall to the ground, and Vordus stepped back "He resurrected your body... he took over your mind..." Kira snarled, his eyes still looking at the holes in his torso "Then, you're broken free of his control, and what do you do? You kill my sister. You kill your son. You even burn down a village full of innocent people!" Kira looked up to see Vordus grinning down at him "You're gonna regret doing all of this, Vordus... cause now I'm mad. I'm legitimately pissed off... and now it's time... to die!!!" He looked up into the sky and amethyst flames began shooting up out of his body.
The entire resort, no the entire city of New York was shaking from the force of Kira's anger! His flames blocked out the sun, so the only light and heat the world was getting in this moment was from Kira! The purple flames continued to engulf the sky as shockwaves began to pulse out of Kira's body. Vordus was forced to move back, shielding his eyes from the boy's fury, but he loved what he was seeing. The might, the anger, the power resonating from Kira... felt different than any he had seen before. Yes, this was another level of power than anyone had seen in a very... very long time. Vordus looked at his endermen and gestured for them to grab the weapons and leave. They nodded, bowed, and teleported away with the weapons, not that anyone in the instance cared. Everyone who was still in the resort felt as though it were about to implode. Bella woke up and saw the gym beginning to collapse and Amanda pulled her up to her feet.
"Come on!" Her taller friend yelled "We gotta get out of here!" She got back up to her feet and the two ran out of the building.
"Holy... shit!" Bella exclaimed "Is all this coming from Kira?"
"It sounds like it!" Amanda replied, having to yell over Kira's roar "It also feels like it! Holy shit, it's getting really hot!"
"Why do you think he's doing this?!"
"I don't know! Come on, let's find the others!" The two ran through the purple light as Kira's roar continued.
The people who had been captured were let go of their captors and now everyone was running for an exit. The soldiers were helping people in the streets get to helicopters and out of the city. When they were in the air, they realized that this wasn't just in Manhattan. This was happening all over the world, Kira's energy was the only light and warmth that Earth was getting at this point.
Noah heard the scream, looked at Mick, who was standing in front of him, and said "See!? See why you should've just let him be! Now he's gonna destroy... whatever he's so pissed at, and now he's probably gonna kill or break anything in his way! For fuck's sake, just listen to the people who who the guy sometimes!! I get that this was for the greater good, bu-"
"Will you shut up!?" Mick yelled.
"No! No I won't shut up!" Noah screamed back "Because this... this is probably your fault! If it's not, I will apologize, but for now, I'm thinking this has something to do with the raid! Oh my god, why are people so stupid!?"
Cyber Dog woke up and found Avery opening the door to his prison... if you could call it that. He stepped out and she immediately hugged him, then told him what was happening.
"Wait... what? Kira's going nuts?"
"I think so! Come on, the soldiers are actually helping us out now! We have a way out of here!" He nodded and they ran towards one of the choppers.
As they all left, they saw the whole place begin to either melt or collapse... actually, it was doing both at the exact same time! Kira's yell finally ended and he looked at Vordus. Before the gigantic Ender King could do anything, Kira appeared in front of him.
"What the-" Suddenly, he felt a surge of pain flash through his entire body as Kira's fist connected with his stomach.
Vordus was sent flying backwards from the force of the attack, falling through the air, and crashing into another building. A moment after he collided with the building he teleported behind Kira. He tried to launch a fireball into Kira's back, but he teleported away from the attack. Before Vordus could try to sense where he was going to reappear, Kira kicked him in the back, sending Vordus flying through the building!
He looked up and Kira conjured two fireballs in his hands before yelling down to the four arms enderman "Here's what I think of your new freedom!" He sent blast after blast down at Vordus.
With each fireball, more and more skin was burnt off of the enderman's body. It was clear that Kira's barrage was completely random because some of the attacks didn't even come close to hitting the enderman. The attacks that did land, they did a lot of damage, and the ones that didn't... they did more damage to the building. By the time the barrage had been going for half a minute, the whole hotel complex was destroyed, nothing but burning rubble now. Vordus knew that at this rate he wouldn't be able to get away if Kira was left to tire himself out. He teleported to another building and Kira noticed the black figure appear. He turned and Vordus decided to use his fire power to blast himself up into the air.
"Oh... no, no, no!" Kira yelled as he flew up to him "You're not getting away!" Vordus launched a fireball down at him and Kira slapped it away while saying "No, I'm done with that shit!" He flew up and Vordus threw a punch at his face, thinking that he would simply fly into his fist, but Kira caught the attack.
"You're going to die!" Kira roared as he twisted Vordus's arm and punched him in the jaw "You're going to burn!" He punched him in the stomach again, causing a dent to form where his left fist landed.
He backed up and swung his foot up, slamming the top of his right foot against Vordus's chin. As Vordus struggled to keep himself in the air, Kira punched him in the face again. He grabbed the back of Vordus's head and pulled him into his knee. The strike made Vordus couch up a mouth full of purple blood. He let him go, then spun in the air, and hook kicked Vordus across the face. He went flying backwards and Kira flew after him, his eyes filled with rage.
"What is going on?" Vordus asked himself "How has he become so strong?" He crashed through four buildings, Kira following, and then Kira sped up, kicking him in the stomach.
"You shouldn't have done all of this!" Kira roared as he pushed Vordus through more buildings with his foot!
He pushed Vordus through three more buildings, all of them falling on top of one another, with his foot. Kira finally pushed him away, then flew at him again. He began peppering Vordus with punches, each breaking one bone or another. The two flew into another building and Kira punched him in the jaw again. He swung his leg up and kicked Vordus in the ribs with a roundhouse. Vordus looked down at the kick, surprised at how much pain he was feeling. He looked back up at Kira and snarled, then punched at his head, but he leaned back. He backflipped in the air and kicked him in the chin, sending Vordus backwards once again.
"You wanna know what Dreadlord's biggest mistake when making you was, Vordus?"
"There was no mistake."
"There is, and it's so obvious!" He side kicked Vordus again, sending him flying into another building, then Kira appeared next to him, and told him "It's that Void Walker body!" He punched him in the back of the neck, sending him flying down to the ground "Everything you feel was made by a Void Walker!" he yelled down into the crater where Vordus was shakily standing up "You feel the power of that body, but you don't understand it!" He flew down and punched him in the stomach, sending him down into the Earth again "You don't understand it because you're not a Void Walker!" He grabbed him and slammed him against the ground again "And you'll never learn to think like one of them!" He grabbed Vordus by the throat with his robotic arm and spun, throwing him into yet another crater.
"How... how is there such a grand power difference between us?" Vordus asked as Kira teleported to him.
"You know? That's simple." Kira grabbed him by the head, then slammed his obsidian hair against his nose, then punched Vordus in the chest with his other hand "You're not a Void Walker, you're an enderman... and hardly even that anymore." Vordus got up from where he was laying to see Kira kick a car out of his way "I am what I'm supposed to be. That's the difference." He began to walk toward Vordus, but then another enderman caught his attention.
"Hey, you!" He yelled, getting Kira's attention "I think it's about time you saw what we're doing."
"Wha-" Suddenly, he stabbed the weapons into a symbol drawn onto the street "Wait... what are you?" Suddenly, black wind began to swirl all around them, darkening the glow from Kira's flames "No... no, no, no. I... I killed him!" A shadowy figure stepped into view "I killed you!"
"Oh... I know," Dreadlord agreed "Now, I think it's time we finish our battle."
"Oh, I could not agree more!!" Kira yelled as he teleported, then reappeared with his sword in his hand "Let's do this, asshole!"
The two jumped at each other, Dreadlord carrying his spear, but Kira simply cut his arm off! They looked into each other's eyes for a moment before landing, and glaring at each other. Before he could even act, Kira swung a blast of fire out of his blade at Dreadlord! He swung again and again and again, sending seven fire blasts at the skeleton ghost. He was unable to move out of the way and the fireballs collided with him. He was sent flying back into another building and Kira glared at him. After a few moments, Dreadlord stepped out of the cloud of smoke and brushed himself off. Kira waited for him to attack, so he sent a whip of fire at the fourteen year old. Kira rolled his eyes and launchaluntly cut the attack in half before disappearing again. He reappeared behind Dreadlord and swung down at him. The enderman grabbed Vordus and Dreadlord, then teleported away right before Kira's blade touched the ground. When the blade met the road, the entire block was blown up, nothing was left for about a mile. When the smoke cleared, and the dust settled, all that remained... was Kira.
