Days after Dreadlord's resurrection, Kira had not said a word in that entire time. It was getting to be very disturbing for everyone, because they all knew he loved to talk. Now, however, he was just standing there, looking out into the distance. They had taken refuge in the school and Tommy tried to go talk to Kira, but he still wouldn't say anything. It hurt everyone to see him like this, not just because it was a lot more grim, but because they had all been told why he went berserk like that... well, everyone except for Mick. He walked into the school and said he was looking for Kira. Serenity simply told him to check the same place he had been for the past few days. Mick sighed and walked up to the top floor of the gym. When he got there, he saw Kira staring out at the still burning wreckage of the entire area where the resort had once been.
"Hey, Kira?" No answer "I think we should go back to the crater... there may be something there worth taking back here." He turned and looked at Mick, but it was with his blind eye, so he really couldn't see the agent at all "Listen, I know something broke you there, and I don't wanna make you go there... but with the amount of power you hold, we may need you if we run into someone." Kira turned back to the window "If you don't wanna go, then I won't make you... but if you wanna come with me, meet me down stairs."
He turned and walked back down the stairs and came across Serenity, whom he walked over to and asked "So, he's been like this since the attack on the resort?"
"Yeah," She muttered "Because you all had to try and bring us in... now... he's like this."
"Oh, do not start with me," He told her sternly "I was doing what I thought was right."
"Yeah, well, you pushed Kira to this. You pushed him over the edge... and now..."
"Now?"
"He's my best friend... my brother... and I don't even know who he is anymore." She got off the wall and glared up into Mick's eyes, hers burning with hate "Because of you." She turned and left, leaving Mick completely speechless.
"She... she blames me?" He asked himself "Why would she blame me? I didn't have a choice but to tell them to attack! Why would I be to blame?"
"Because you did tell them to attack," Kira told him, his voice filled with... nothing... in fact, everything about him just seemed drained of all life "If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be in this situation. You don't understand anything aside from what you want to... let's go. Now." He grabbed Mick's shoulder and they teleported to the smoldering crater "Alright, we're here. What did you wanna find?"
"I was told we may be able to get weapons... or armor... or something of that sort here," Mick explained as he started to dig.
"So, we're here for no reason." Kira kicked a piece of building out of his way without a second thought.
"No, not for no reason. I'm just hoping my source is right and we can find something helpful." He pushed another piece of building away "Ah! Here's something at least... you know what his is?" He picked up a disk and showed it to Kira, who finally showed some level of emotion.
The boy tilted his head to the right and replied "Uh... no, that doesn't ring a bell." He stepped closer "We had a few files of battle strategies and a map of all of military posts, but that was all on a black disk... not a purple one." He took it from Mick and put it in his pocket.
"Hey... what's that?" They looked over at what looked like a body.
"Oh god... oh god, no..." Kira struggled to walk toward it as Mick simply walked toward it.
"Is that... that's your sister right?"
"Yeah..." Kira struggled to reply "I... oh god, I never wanted to see that thing again... I thought she was disintegrated in the fire blasts I sent at him."
"Is... is she seriously why you went berserk?" Kira heard this and his head shot up "I mean... yeah, she's kinda cute, probably more so when she was alive... but, why?" Kira slowly turned his head to glare at Mick.
"What did you just say...?" Kira growled.
"Kid, I'm saying, she was not worth killing however many people you di-" Suddenly, Kira grabbed him by the throat and lifted him up into the air.
"He killed my sister!" He yelled.
"I've tried... so hard... to figure out what kind of person you are..." Mick reached into his back pocket "You're not hero... that's for sure." He reached his glock and pulled it out "You're just an unstable monster..." He pointed the gun at him "Now... you'll join he-" He tried to fire, but Kira used his robotic hand to cover the gun, stopping the bullet without a thought.
"You really thought that would work?" He asked, then he ripped the gun in half, and threw Mick to the ground "You really thought you could kill me... with a bullet?" Mick got back up "Come on... if this is really what you wanna do, then come at me."
He punched at Kira, but he caught the punch, and punched Mick in the nose with his other hand. He kicked Mick in the stomach and let him go. Mick fell to the road and Kira used his metal hand to pick him up by the neck. Kira swung Mick's head against his own and slammed his obsidian hair into Mick's forehead. The obsidian knocked Mick out with a single impact and Kira threw him away. When he saw where he landed, the fourteen year old took the disk out of his pocket. He walked over to Mick, not wanting to waste his teleportation on this man. When he got there, he put the disk in Mick's hand and closed it to make sure it didn't fall away.
"You use that however you want," Kira told him, emotion leaving his voice once again "I don't care anymore... just deal with Vordus." He teleported away.
Hours Later
Mick got back to the school and everyone was concerned about his bruises, but when Serenity saw Kira was gone she asked Mick "What happened? Where'd he go?"
"I... kid, I don't know," He told her, then he had to come up with a quick lie to get her to hate him less so he tried "We found a disk, then he attacked me. I don't know what set him off, but he left me with it."
"Wait... so he just attacked you?" Avery asked.
"That doesn't really sound like him," Noah told her.
"I agree," Mark said "We've known each other for a bit, and that doesn't sound like him. Yeah, he was super enraged a week ago, but that was for some reason... but just attacking someone? That doesn't sound like him."
As they continued to discuss, Tommy came down the stairs and asked "Guys... have you ever thought that... maybe Kira's a lost cause by no-" Serenity suddenly shot a fireball at him, which he just barely stopped before it hit him.
"You shut your mouth," She snarled at him as she pushed the fireball toward his face, making him have to take a step back "He has been... my best friend... for years."
"That may be true, Seri," He told her as he put both hands up to keep the fireball away "But if what Mick told us is true... he's as dangerous as Vordus now."
Serenity's eyes widened, the, she let out a growl and widened the fireball, making it stronger. Tommy had to lean back, his powers pushing him back. As he kept up his force field, his feet dragged across the  gym floor they continued to push against one another until Avery tackled Serenity and Mark grabbed Tommy.
"Guys, enough!" Mark yelled as he held Tommy against the wall.
"Fighting won't solve anything!" Avery added "Let's just see what's on the disk and maybe find something useful?"
"He... alright," Serenity lamented and Avery let her go "Let's just move past this... and go see what's on this thing."
"I agree," Tommy replied as Mark let him go "Let's do this."
They all walked to the F Building and turned on one of the many computers. When Serenity finally managed to get it working, Mick walked over with the disk. They opened the disk player and put in the thin circle, then pushed it into the player. The moment the disk began to run, Dreadlord's face, or skull, appeared on the screen.
"Hello... my enemies," He greeted them "I will make this quick, because I'm going to be honest... I'm not in the mood to be going on a long winded rant. You have a chance to stop me, but you'll have to use it soon. Don't waste your chance, and remember these words." They all looked at each other "Si vis pacem..."
"Para bellum," Mick and Dreadlord finished at the same time before the screen went black.
