Serenity woke up in the pool of light, her children weren't there yet. She got up and stretched, feeling a lot less stiff than she had when she went to her son's wedding. When she looked down, she realized that she had been reverted back to her thirteen year old form.
"What? How... oh, my god!" She realized that she would be able to see Kira again... after decades!
She ran out, not even taking her jacket, leaving her in only her white and gold cargo pants and white sleeveless t-shirt. When the door was opened, she stopped for a moment, seeing how big Aether City had become since she had been there last. She flew down the stairs, being able to control her power again, and when she got down the stairs, she ran through the city. Kira, having had no idea she had come back, was wandering through the city. He was listening to his favourite song, an orchestral remake of Finale from Undertale. Jason and Maya appeared a few minutes after their mother had left. They were both confused as to what happened. They had been at Jason's wedding, and suddenly they were here. They saw the giant closed door and decided to open it. When it was opened, they saw a huge city, filled to the brim with light. Serenity was still looking around for Kira, and finally found him walking down the road. Jason and Maya were walking through the city and found Sora's old house... and didn't recognise it so the two went off in search of someone they did know. Serenity was overjoyed, and she charged toward her best friend. Kira felt something coming toward him so he took his headphones off. When he turned and saw her, his eyes glowed brighter. He ran towards her, even faster than she was to him. Maya and Jason rounded a corner to see their mother jump into Kira's arms. They could tell it was her because the face was very similar, just much, much younger. Kira wrapped his arms around her waist as she did the same around his neck. The two were both laughing as Kira spun her around, then he lowered her back to the ground, and he looked at her again.
"Hey, Seri," He sighed, having worked off all of the excitement.
"I... Kira... I've missed you." She hugged him again.
"I've missed you too, Seri," He replies, holding her much gently this time "But I know you've been busy, you know, raising those two."
Serenity separated from him and saw her children standing there. They had been reverted to their high school senior forms, meaning that Maya was now the same age as her brother, rather than a year younger.
"Oh, yeah. I heard you were keeping an eye on them." She smiled at Kira, who was letting his eye stop glowing.
"Yeah, wanted to make sure your family was alright... guess I kinda shat the bed on that didn't I?"
"Yeah, but I don't blame you. Not your job to keep my family safe," Serenity replied.
"Okay, one. I kinda did make it my job," Kira replied "And two, I kept your blood family. I'm gonna be perfectly honest, I don't know jack shit about your husband. I think his name was Steve or whatever? I dunno."
"Oh yeah, we got a divorce. It was no one's fault though, we just wanted to not have to have the same last name. Okay, it was because his was Scheiße. I'm not even gonna tell you what that mea-"
"Oh trust me, I know," Kira told her, trying to hold in his laughter "I've been trying not to laugh." He beckoned the family "But enough about that, I think everyone would love to see you. Come on." He led them to the house, but before he closed the door, Kira turned and smiled at you.
