Dreadlord knew Kira had left the group, which was great for him, because he needed a group of his own. He looked to Vordus, who seemed to be mindless muscle now. Ever since his resurrection, Dreadlord had noticed how little of a mind Vordus had been left with. He groaned and looked out at the portal to The End in front of him, then took a step forward. He let himself fall though the portal while Vordus just silently watched as his master left his world. When he was gone, Vordus silently stepped through as well. When they both reappeared, all of the endrians stood in shock. They were never expecting to see Dreadlord again!
"Listen up!" Dreadlord yelled "I am now your king, as I am his master." They all turned to listen "I know what you all think of me, and granted, it's all understandable and well earned, but now's the time to put that aside." Most endrians came closer "Kira and his friends are all still alive, living on Earth... however, we can travel there as easily as they can. You see, I am no ordinary evil anymore! After being brought back, one of Vordus's minions brought me that... cannon, whatever it's called. The one that let Cyberdog travel into our world, but now we have the way to travel to theirs." Now everyone was listening patiently "I know I've made all of your lives hell at least once before... and for that... I don't apologize, but I do promise to right that wrong... and do you know how?" Everyone began trying to guess, but no one could "Idiots," Dreadlord sighed as he looked down and shook his head "The way I'm going to right my wrong is to bring you all back! Back to the limelight, and out into the real world! Are you ready for a night of fun? A night of rejuvenation? Of complete and total freedom!?" Everyone erupted into a loud cheer "Then come on! There are few who can stop us now... so let's get out there!" Everyone erupted again and spheres of light enveloped them, then blasted them all up into the sky "Beware, Kira," Dreadlord snarled as he was brought to Earth again as well.
Back on Earth, Kira was looking at where he had put up memorials to his family. Herobrine's Thunder Blade, Sora's bow, Prokaz's Black Steel Sword, and Ashley's Ruby Thorn. They had all been slain by the same person, at least in his eyes. Serenity had been looking for him for hours, and she finally found him. He was at his own little monument to his family. She sighed and looked around, know how smart he was, she assumed he had set a few traps. She was right, as she found a log with a hole carved into it. She bent down and picked up a small pebble, then threw it in the log's vicinity. The moment the rock was right in front of the hole, a dart shot out. It was so quick that Serenity could barely see the projectile. The tip seemed to be sharp enough to lodge into the rock's surface.
"Very clever, Kira," She sighed and continued walking forward.
She kept walking, avoiding all the traps with ease, because even though Kira was a borderline genius, she knew him well enough to predict his traps, when was something the soldiers who attacked him would've benefited from. When she finally got behind him, he didn't even move. He just continued to stare at his family's weapons, emotion not visible on his face or stance.
"Kira?" She asked, but he remained stone face "Please, Kira, just talk to me. You once told me you'd talk to me about anything." Still, she was met with silence "Kira! Please, just say something, anything! Even if it's angry, I don't care! I just want to hear your voice!" He took a brief look down into her eyes, they were red and welling up with tears, but he stayed silent, turning back to the weapons "Kira... I wish I could help you like she could... keep you stable like she could... but I can't." She wiped her tears with her sleeve "All I want is for you to smile... to feel good again." She took a step forward and wrapped her arms around him, burying her face in his back "I... love you..." She let go of him and waited for a moment for a reaction, which he did not give, so she sighed, and turned, walking back to the school.
An hour after she left, Kira decided he should too, but he suddenly felt a cool wind flow past him. He looked around and saw the wind start to accumulate and swirl behind him in the shape of a human. When the person began to materialize, glowing white eyes looked into his own.
"Hey, kid," The figure said.
"Herobrine," Kira replied simply.
"I know what's happened," Herobrine told him "I know you're hurt at the moment, but you can't just do all of what you're doing. Pushing your friends away? All of that murder for no real reason? I mean come on! What're you thinking!?"
"Herobrine, I have nothing," Kira told him bluntly "Ashley's dead. Sora's dead. You're dead." Herobrine leaned against his thunder blade "I have lost everyone."
"I'm gonna assume you forgot the little redhead's still alive. So's Cyberdog, Avery, and a bunch of others. You may have far less people, but you still have a family."
"Aside from Serenity, they're all just people. None of them know me, like you four do." herobrine sighed and got off of his sword "I just... I just wanna go to you, but I can't, not when Dread's still around." Herobrine took a step forward and put a hand on Kira's robotic shoulder.
"Kira, I get it. Truly, I do, but this isn't the way to go about the rest of your life. You used to be such an energetic, happy, silly little kid... now you're just turning into what I really didn't want for you."
"And that is?"
"Another me," Herobrine explained "When I was your age my parents were killed, which left me alone. With my powers I caused destruction with 303 and Dread, but I snapped out of it. I realized I still had friends and family who care about me, just like you do... so please... just go back to the others, and help them stop Dread."
"I... I can't go back yet. I will, trust me, I will, but not yet. I need to clear my head first." He looked up into his father's eyes "But trust me... when I finally have my wits about myself again, I'm going back, and I'm ending this war... my way." Herobrine smiled at his son, then nodded, and began to fade away "I swear, dad. I'll beat him, and save my friends." He turned around toward the exit of the graveyard and let his eyes glow once more, his right a dark purple, and his left a flickering, dim white.
