Chapter Seventeen

We climbed into Ross’s car, and he backed out of the parking lot. 

“You guys were really good” Ross said

“Really? Like you mean it?” I asked

“Yeah of course I mean it Ave! You guys could be a hit band!” Ross exclaimed “If you want I can still talk to a label”

“Ross no. I appreciate it but I don’t want people thinking I’m using you.” I told him 

“Okay. I wouldn’t think that but if that’s what you want it’s fine with me” he said

I took a deep breath “Anyway, I was listening to the radio and our relationship has gotten the most positive feedback then any other relationship!” I exclaimed

I turned my head and saw a big smile spread across Ross’ face. “I knew they would like you Ave!” Ross said

He made his legendary move again. He held out his right hand and I took it. He squeezed my hand and brought it to his lips to kiss. I still blushed even though he’s done this many times. 

“Ross. I can’t even tell you how amazing this is. How amazing you are.” I told him “Oh by the way. My mom, can she join us for lunch or is it a closed thing?” I asked him

“No it’s fine she can join. If she like Jimmy Johns.” He said

“Yeah I think she’s fine with that. Let me text her.” I let go of Ross’ hand and grabbed my phone out of my bag. I quickly texted my mom and moments later got a response.

Mommy: 

Thanks for the invite sweetie. I met up with a couple of old friends and we are having lunch. Have fun with Ross. Much love :)

Me:

Sounds good. Have fun mom.

I sighed and slipped my phone back in my bag. “Well she’s eating with a couple of friends so it’s just me” I told him

“Sounds good. Maybe another time” He said “I can’t wait for you to meet everyone. They will love you” 

“I’m actually kinda nervous about meeting everyone” I admitted “I am a huge R5 fan” I told Ross

He chuckled “Just be cool, your soon going to be like family to us” He assured me

I nodded. We drove for a few more minutes and Ross pulled into a parking lot. We got out and Ross came around by my side. He gave me a hug and slid his arm around my waist. I giggled. Oh how I loved how strong he is.

We walked into the studio and were greeted by workers.
