Leaving a trail of blood behind her, loralie trudged through the city. She had taken the envelope that was sent to Dr. Senka by Katie. She noticed the address on the back of the envelope, loralie was determined to find Katie no matter what. The address read “13 lann ave”. Loralie sighed and kept walking through the city. It didn’t take long before a car pulled behind her. “Hey! Little lady” a man’s voice called. She turned. It was the taxi driver that brought her to translucent hope in the first place! Her eyes glimmered, smiling as she ran over. “Sir! It’s you!” she yelled with excitement. “hello there, how was your trip? It sounds creepy but I’ve been worried about you since I dropped you off-” his eyes trailed down to her scars and bloody clothing. Looking scared and shocked, he paused his sentence. “sir.. are you busy? I need you to take me to this location.” She said with a stern face. Her expression was cold and dark, totally different from the mischievous shy woman he picked up before. He hesitated for a second, and began to unlock his car door. “Come on in little lady, just tell me the address, free of charge.” He smiled weakly. She was a mess, beaten and limping. “hey.. are you okay?” he asked loralie. She flashed him a hopeful look, reassuring the worried driver. He nodded, taking the envelope from her hands slowly. “ahh 13 lann huh?” she nodded slowly, as the driver smiled. “alright then, let’s be off” he set the envelope aside, taking the wheel once more. As they drove through the city, loralie became suspicious. “sir, what can I call you?” she asked. “just call me Freddie.” He answered. “Freddie, why were you worried about me? You have so many other people to drive, why me?” she pushed on. He sat for a second before giving his response. “because I had dropped off many people there, they never seem to come back. It’s odd, but it’s probably because it’s some sort of secret airport. Why are you covered in blood, little lady?” he fired back. Freddie was obviously determined to get some sort of information on that place. “its actually not blood, I got broke up with my boyfriend who dumped wine all over me.” She lied. “then why are you wearing such odd clothes.. are you a doctor I’d some sort?” Freddie obviously wasn’t convinced in loralie’s story. “nah, It’s a long story that I’m afraid I don’t want to tell. And besides, that place isn’t a secret airport. It’s a strip club for only women.” Loralie said as soon as she remembered that she was dressed nice that day. If felt like only snips of her memories were coming back now that she was in the city, but it came well to her advantage. “a strip club? For how long, two years? Women are crazy” he sighed and shook his head.
