Trigger warnings in the description

If I were to say, nothing has ever been my way. Relationships, family, jobs, pretty much everything has been out of my control. But I’m pretty sure I know when things get too out of control.

“So you’re telling me he did this.. when?” Dr. Keres asked. “Around when I was eight years old. It’s not a big deal, really.” Dr. Keres looked unimpressed with her response, which was a natural reaction as he was loralie’s personal therapist. “Is that all? Our session is almost over, loralie.” He reminded her, typing seriously on his keyboard. She sighed. Looking around the bland room, she sank into the couch. God, why was there never enough time? Just give me a damn chance to figure myself out, loralie thought. “Alright doctor, next month then?” loralie asked, fumbling her fingers. “yes indeed, five o clock. Come prepared next time, please.” She nodded, straightening herself out as she walked out of Dr. Keres’s office. Walking to her car, she felt her phone vibrating in her side pocket. She slid her finger to answer it. “loralie! Been a while, eh? Are you busy?” loralie’s shoulders dropped as she realized who it was. She didn’t want to socialize, but it’s not like she had any other choice. “Melanie, long time no see! I’m not doing anything important, why?” She waited for a response as a few seconds went by. “ah.. well I wanted to show you something, but if you’re busy it’s totally fine” loralie opened her car door and sat inside for more privacy. “its fine, I will see you an about 15 minutes, ok?” the next thing she knew, Melanie hung up the phone. That was odd, she thought. Melanie had always waited for a response before hanging up the phone, unless it was something serious. Taking hold of the steering wheel, she inserted her key and went on her way.
