Chapter 9 - Revenge

I finally make it to the coordinates fury sent me. I approach Sam my dad and mom. "Uh cap turn around" Sam tells dad as he smiles at me. Dad turns and mom smiled with tears in her eyes as I run into her arms. "I'm sorry I'm so so sorry" I sob looking at my dad. "What happened?" Dad asked. "Their planning on using the helicarriers and shields system to eliminate millions of people the thee of us including Sam". They look at me worried.

"I want Hydra to fall even if that means shield goes with them." Dad smiles and kisses my forehead and smiles. "You got a suit?" I nod. "I'm wearing it" he smiles as dad and mom walk ahead leaving me with Sam. "we'll looks like my dreams are finally coming true I get to work with the oracle" I chuckle as I give sam a hug. "I just got a hug why?" Sam asked stunned as I smile. Truth be told since the incident with Rumlow I had a hard time trusting men so the three men I trust now are sam Bucky and my dad. "Because if not for you my life would be at risk so thank you" he smiles and we walk over to dad.

Dad Sam and I go get changed to stop hydra from activating the Helicarriers. "You sure your ok with this kiddo I can tell you really love him" dad asked concerned for me. "If getting the man I love to remember releases him from hydra then yes I'm ok with this" I tell my dad. "You know your just like your mother" dad smirks as I laugh. "We'll she is my mother but I'm a lot like you as well, stubborn refusing to let the people I love suffer" Dad laughs as we continue to walk. "Ok you got me there let's go stop hydra from whatever damage they've already caused." I nodded as we get to the back entrance to shield headquarters. Maria myself Sam and dad that is. "Oh man I am so fired" the security guard said sounding almost a little worried.

3rd pov

At the Project Insight headquarters, where com techs are running the helicarrier signals they make small talk conversations. "I've been parking there for two months." The first tech begins talking. "But it's his spot." His friend interrupts. "So where's he been?" "I think Afghanistan." They stop so one of them speak into his earpiece. "Negative, DT-6. The pattern is full." Then he begins a talking to his colleague again. "Well, he could have said something" suddenly they hear a sharp noise through their earpiece. "Ow!" They both yell. "Must be the dish." The second tech says curious. "I'll check it out." The first one states.

The man on the PA starts speaking. "Triskelion command request we clear the area for launch."As the Tech goes and opens the door he's faced with Steve, Sam, Natalia and Hill on the other side of the door, Sam and Hill point their guns at him while natiala has her wisps.

"Excuse us" Steve says. the tech holds his hands up and steps aside to let them enter.

With pierce and the council,

"I know the road hasn't exactly been smooth, and some of you would have gladly kicked me out of the car along the way. Finally we're here, and the world should be grateful" as they start drinking to Pierce's toast suddenly they hear Steve over the SHIELD microphone that everyone in the building can hear.

"Attention, all SHIELD agents. This is Steve Rogers. You've heard a lot about me over the last few days, some of you were even ordered to hunt me down. But I think it's time you know the truth. SHIELD is not what we thought it was, it's been taken over by HYDRA. Alexander Pierce is their leader. The STRIKE and Insight crew are HYDRA as well. I don't know how many more, but I know they're in the building. They could be standing right next to you. They almost have what they want: absolute control. They shot Nick Fury and it won't end there. If you launch those Helicarriers today, HYDRA will be able to kill anyone that stands in their way, unless we stop them. I know I'm asking a lot, but the price of freedom is high, it always has been, and it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not" as Steve finishes his speech

"Did you write that down first, or was it off the top of your head?" Sam asked while looking to Natalia who's grinning ear to ear. "That'll show him nice job dad" Natalia smiles.

to Pierce after learning the truth about him,

"You smug son of a bitch." Rockwell glares and
Councilman Singh looks to the two HYDRA agents enter the room, thinking they are SHIELD agents. "Arrest him" the HYDRA agent points his gun at Singh.
