His Oracle

Chapter 36

Vision leads bucky into the library where Bucky specifically told Visio what they were about to do was a terrible idea.

"We are not doing this do you realize how stupid this is?" They kept walking in making Bucky regret his life choices.

"Relax I got this it'll be a walk in the park" vision tried to convince bucky.

"Yeah why don't we add pitch forks to a walk in the park?" Bucky sarcastically added.

"Oh, hiya, Vision. Didn't expect to see you here. This is sort of a members only type deal." Bucky his arms looking at vision.

"Told you" Vision ignores Bucky.

"Ah, certainly. Right, well. I'll just stay here and be as quiet as a church mouse til you open up the floor for new business."

And at this point bucky was wishing he was anywhere but here even in a spa with Josie would do. Back at the women's meeting, a song plays on the radio. Wanda helps clean up with Josie wanting to kill herseld while Dottie sits nearby.

"Remind me why I came to this?" Josie exhaustedly puts a bun down helping Wanda.

"And that is why you never do a seating chart on an empty stomach." Josie glares at Dottie.

"Oh right i Remeber her she's the devil in disguise" Wanda tries not to laugh.

"Gollie, you're a whiz at all this committee stuff, Dottie. Thank you for choosing me to help you clean up today. I feel so lucky." Dotties face never changes.

"You are" Wanda makes a face while her back is turned. After a moment, she turns back around.

"I can't help but wonder if you and I haven't gotten off on the wrong foot, Dottie. And I would like to correct that if I can."

"And how would you do that?" Wanda gives a nervous laugh and says nothing. Dottie gets up.

"I've heard things about you. You ladies and your husbands." Josie stops and glares at her.

"Well, I don't know what you've been told, but I assure you I don't mean anyone any harm." Wanda interferes.

"I don't believe you."

The radio begins to crackle. A voice comes through.

"Wanda. Wanda, can you read me, over? Wanda? Josie are you there?" Dottie looks at the girls confused.

"Who is that?"

The radio starts to smoke, cutting off the voice. Dottie crushes her glass in surprise, cutting her hand. She and Wanda both gasp. She looks down and sees the blood in Dottie's hand isn't in black and white. Wanda gets a towel for Dottie's hand.

"Pop quiz, Wanda. How does a housewife get a bloodstain out of white linen? By doing it herself." Dottie walks away.

"Bitch!" Josie hollers as Dottie walks.

"Come on the talent show let's go"

After the girls have waited for long enough Wanda gets antsy.

"Ok I'm calling James again" Wanda has been pacing back and forth while Sam checks his watch shaking his head.

"I don't know where he could be!" Vision staggers into frame behind her with Bucky shaking his head.

"Oh Jesus H Roosevelt Christ I found them!" Josie curses.

"Oh, is that him?" Geraldine asks as Josie nods.

"Unfortunately" which earned a glare from Bucky.

Wanda emerges from the curtains. She walks out further and gestures to the curtains. Nothing happens. Dottie looks miffed. Wanda looks nervous. Josie sam and bucmy are all sitting in a table together. Vision is playing with his clothes.
