School was finally done. A few days had passed from the Homecoming Dance and Matthew was still bumped out about Brittany. A few days I would go by Matthew's house and check up on him. It really broke my heart to see Matthew like this but love is not easy. One day David called me and asked if I wanted to go to Six Flags Great Adventure with him and I told him yes. I called Matthew the same day and asked him and he said yes. So Matthew, my sister, David, Kendrah, Andre and I went on a road trip to Six Flags in New Jersey.
When we got there, we all paid and went inside and had fun. Since Matthew didn't have anyone, my sister was his company on all the rides. Before we went on any rides and I told David,
"Baby, I need to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"I actually never been on a rollercoaster before."
"It's ok, you'll be ok you have me and you don't have to keep your eyed open on the ride ok?"
"Yes," I said as he put his arm around me, I put my arm around his waist and he kissed the side of my head.
"Heyy Natalie," Matthew said, "thank you for inviting me."
"Don't mention it and why wouldn't I invite you, you my big bro, you weren't feeling fell so I had to get you out. But how are you doing?"
"I'm doing a little better."
"I'm so proud of you," I said as I hugged him, gave him a kiss on the cheek and went back to David.
"Thank you. Hey April, come on let me buy you cotton candy for keeping me company today," he said as he stooped down, April got on his back and they went to the shop.
"Oh Matthew, can you buy us one too," David said as he gave Matthew money to buy it.
"Nah man keep your money, it's on me." Then Matthew and April headed off. When Matthew and April came back, April gave me the cotton candy.
"Thanks Ape." Then she skipped back to Matthew, who was sitting down on a bench. As I looked around, I didn't see Andre and Kendrah.
"Babe, where's Andre and Kendrah?"
"They probably when on the rides already, but I will text them when we are about to leave."
"Ok," I said as I was opening the cotton candy as I pulled David's shirt to sit next to me. When we sat down, I put my legs on him and I started eating the cotton candy. I took cotton candy once in a while and fed it to David. When we had finished the cotton candy, David was just staring at me and I started blushing really hard as I put my head down.
Suddenly David put his hand under my chin and raised my head up and looked into my eyes and said,
"In two months it's going to be our 1st year anniversary."
"Only a year. It seems like we have been together for years and what wonderful months they have been."
"Yea. They were the best months of my life so far."
"Same here. Do you have anything planned for our special night?"
"Yea and it's going to start early. Do you remember when I told you we all were going on a trip sometime this summer?"
"Yes"
"Well that is part of your anniversary gift."
"It is, awww......but baby where are we going?"
"I can't tell you but it's one of your favorite spots to go on vacation and we will meet some of my family members there."
"Awww man, but ok. So when's the trip?"
