Chapter 23: I have a boyfriend

The next day, for some reason I was kind of excited to go on the date with James. In school, he would pass by me and say, "I can't wait," and I would start blushing. It was crazy because I have a boyfriend and he reminded me so much of David. When school was over, I rushed home. When I got home, I took a quick nap. When I woke up, David had just walked into the room.

"Hey baby," I said siting up.

"Hey boo," he said bending over and kissed me, "ready for your date tonight?"

"Yes, but it's just weird that you are ok with another guy asking your girlfriend out on a date."

"I know but I'll only be mad if he finds out you have a boyfriend and he is still trying to make a move on you."

"So you don't want him to know I'm already with you?"

"No."

"But what if he actually grows deep feelings for me?"

"Then I would stop him, just don't let him kiss you. If he kisses you, he will be hooked and won't let go of you, I know because it happened to me." I just laughed.

"I'm serious if it happens I'm going to have to have a talk with him."

"Don't hurt him."

"I won't because I understand he got hooked by one kiss."

"Whatever David, I'm going to take a shower," I said getting up and headed for the bathroom.

In the bathroom, as I was taking off my clothes, I heard the door open. Suddenly, David slipped his arms around my waist and his body was firmly pressed against mine. I knew he was naked because I could feel his friend on my back. David helped me take the rest of my clothes off and turned on the water. Both of us got into the shower and washed each other off. When we were done, we got out and dried off ourselves. I walked over to our closet and looked at my dresses; I didn't know what to wear.

"Baby, can you help pick out a dress for me please?"

"Of course." He walked over to the closet and looked at the dresses. Finally he took out a dress.

"This one," he said putting the dress towards me. As I looked at the dress, it was a nice choice. It was a blue dress; it looked like it was a summer dress.

"You always make the choice. Why is it that you have better taste in dresses than?"

"I don't know maybe it's because I lived with a big sister most of my life that it kind of rubbed off on me."

"Awww that's cute, thank you baby."

"You're welcome." I walked away getting ready to change my clothes. Before I got far, David stopped me and said,

"I get a thank you and that's it. You can at least give me a thank you kiss," he said making his cheek visible for me to kiss it.

"I love you, you know that?"

"Yea." I walked over to David and planted a kiss on his cheek.

"Thank you."

"Wait I'm not done." I grabbed David's head with both hands, pulled his head towards me and I kissed him. As I kissed him, I wrapped my hands around his neck as he wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me up. When he was done, he let go of me. When he let go of me, I just realized that as I was holding David's face, my towel dropped. I walked to my dresser to get my clothes and I heard David say,

"Baby I think you are going to have to cancel your date."

"Why?"

"Because I want you girl."
