A few months had passed and Vanessa been spending more time with us. I didn't like the thought of it, but I was keeping my cool because of David. We all tried to get along with each other. David and I haven't really spent much time together because he had to study for the PSAT that was coming up soon. It made me sad at first, but I knew he was doing this for his education and just the thought of him leaving next year made my heart crash into millions of pieces. He was trying to boost up his grades and work on his scholarship for basketball. He might mostly get a scholarship in basketball, video because he does videos for weddings or special events, or for being trilingual because he speaks English, Spanish and French. We are now in the month of April and our school won the championship basketball game. One of the basketball players was having a congratulations party for David, for winning the game for us at his house.
"Hey baby," David said to me.
"Hey sweetie," I said as I gave him a kiss.
"Would you accompany me at the party for me winning at the championship game? It would make me happy if you could come and support me for winning the game for our school."
"Of course I'll come; I'm not going to leave you hanging."
"Thanks Babe," he said ad he kissed me again.
"When is the party?"
"In June"
"Ok."
A few weeks had passed and I found something in the mail that made me happy. David had gotten a letter from Syracuse one of the top best college basketball teams and they accepted him to come play for them next year. This good news called for a celebration and also this was the college David wanted to go to. He was also getting a full scholarship. When David got home, I was overjoyed.
"Hi Baby."
"Hey," he said as he kissed me.
"How was your day?"
"It was good. Sweetie what's going on?"
"Nothing. Tonight I'm taking us out to celebrate."
"What are we celebrating?"
"I'll tell you are dinner. This is my treat and I'm buying."
"Ok well I can't argue with that."
"Oh and Babe dress nice."
"I always dress nice."
"I know but tonight I want you to dress extra special tonight."
"Ok anything for you baby," he said as he kissed me and ran upstairs and got ready. I couldn't keep the news to myself, so I called everyone and told them to prepare a congratulations party for him at his place.
7 o'clock had come and I was dressed, I watched David walk down the stairs; it was vise verses a. He had his hand in his pocket and he was walking down the stairs very sexy.
"Babe, you are fine."
"Thank you, honey," he said and then he gave me a kiss.
"Are you ready?"
"Yes." So I lead him to the car and I drove us to a resturant where they knew David and his family well. When we got there, they gave us there finest sits in the resturant.
"Order whatever you want dear," I said to David.
"Ok." So we order and we ate. During our dinner, David asked me,
"So Babe what are we celebrating?"
"I can't tell you yet. So have you gotten any letters for the colleges you applied to yet?"
