It's Friday afternoon and my room has clothes all over it: on the floor, on my bed, on my dresser and on my computer desk. Tomorrow was my first date with David and I wanted to look my best. After sunset, my family and I worshipped. During worship all I could think about was the date. After worship, I went to my room. I soon got a call from David. I answered and said,

"Hey."

"Wassup"

"Nothing, just trying to choose a dress to where to church and on our date"

"Awww......are you trying to impress me?"

"Yes, of course. You're my first boyfriend and I wanted to......."

"You don't have to impress me. I love you just the way you are."

"I know, but I still wanna look nice for our date."

"Well, whatever you wear I'ma still think you're beautiful."

"Awww thanks David." After I finished talking to David I finally chose my best and favorite dress. The dress was blue with a black and white, thick strap around the dress. Also I chose my best shoes. The shoes were blue just like the dress and it was flat shoes.

It's Saturday morning and I got ready for church. I put on my clothes and put on a lot of perfume that I started to cough. Then I started to head downstairs. As I came downstairs, my dad kissed me on my head and said,

"You look very nice baby, and you smell nice too but you kind of sprayed too much perfume."

"Thanks, daddy," I said.

"You look nice sweetie. You look like you're going on a date," my mom said.

"Thanks mommy. Actually I am going on a date."

"You are. How come I'm now hearing about this," my mom said in a soft tone.

"I just forgot to mention it to you."

"Oh ok," she said in a sarcastic tone, "what is his name?"

"David."

"The star basketball player?"

"Yes."

"Well, when are you going on your date, tonight I hope?"

"Yes, tonight."

"When are we going to see David?"

"In like 30 minutes."

"Huh......I thought your date was tonight."

"It is."

"So....?"

"I invited David to church with us."

"Oh that's nice."

"Just make sure he treats you well," my dad told me.

"I know daddy," I said as I hugged him.

When I got to church, I saw David sitting down on the church steps holding something in his hand, but I couldn't see what he was holding. All I saw was the color blue. Then I saw David get up and started walking left to right. He was wearing a white sweater vest, with a blue tie underneath, black pants, black shoes and just a regular black jacket. He looked to handsome in his outfit. As I stepped out the car, David saw me and I can see on his face that he was shocked. As I walked to David, he was still shocked. When I finally got to him I said,

"Hi David"

"Um...H...H...Hi, you...you look very VERY beautiful.

"Thank you."

"Um...I got this for you. It's a corsage."

"Thank you," I said as David put the corsage of my wrist.

"It matches your blue dress."
