The summer came by fast and Andre and Kendrah were leaving but I'm glad I still got my best two guys: David and Matthew. One day we all decided to hang out and spend one last day with each other before we go our separate ways.
"Baby, can you do me a favor?"
"Sure what's up boo?"
"Can you find a picture of you, me, Kendrah, Matthew and Andre together so we can give it to them?"
"Sure. I'ma look right now," he said walking to his laptop.
"Thank you baby." About 10 minutes later, David found a picture.
"Hey baby, I found a picture."
"Wow that was fast."
"Yea, but Brittany is included in the picture too. This picture is for the Christmas concert at your church," he said showing me the picture.
"It's fine. Can you please print 2 please?"
"Sure." He printed the pictures and they came out great. I had bought 2 frames already so I put the pictures into the frames and put them in gift bags.
It was the second week of August and we all got together on Wednesday and hang out. We went to Central Park and walked around. We talked like old times and laughed. I walked with Matthew and David each at my side and I hooked my hand with theirs. Andre and Kendrah were on David's side.
"So Kendrah what college are you going to?"
"I'm going to Penn State. I want to be a social worker.
"What about you Andre?"
"I'm also going to Penn State. I wanted to be with Kendrah. They have the major I'm interested in, which is a mechanic and engineering. Also they have a good basketball team so I said why not."
"Awww, well at least you all don't have to worry about other people hitting on you guys."
"Yea, but I won't like the idea that we won't be sleeping together at night," Kendrah said pouting.
"That's the same thing David told me, but he has a plan to change that."
"What's his plan?"
"I don't know he won't tell me," I said looking at him with my arms crossed.
"What?" David said, sounding innocent.
"Why won't you tell your girl what your plan is?" Kendrah asked him.
"I'm not telling her because it's a secret."
"He always has secrets and surprises," I told Kendrah.
"Well when he shows you the surprise, is it good?"
"Of course it's good."
"Then you have nothing to worry about. If all his surprises are good, tell you don't have to worry if the surprise is good or bad. Besides he's only does that because he loves you girl."
"I know but the suspense is killing me and I have to what a whole year to see the surprises he has."
"Well ain't it worth waiting for?"
"I don't know."
"Is it?" Kendrah asked looking at David.
"Yes it is, if I tell you, you'll understand why."
"Well tell me then."
"Ok, come over here we don't want Natalie to hear."
"Wait a minute, now that ain't fair," I butted in.
