A month had passed and I was eating a lot and my belly was getting a little big. Every night, David would kiss my belly and say good night; it was sooo cute and that was when I was definitely ready for the baby. The day had come for me my next checkup and David went this time.
"Hey Doc," I said as I got into his office.
"Hi Natalie, how are you feeling?"
"I'm good just every tired once in a while."
"Ok. Having you been eating healthy?"
"Yes, well once in a while but for the most part yes."
"That's good. Now I'm going to put some gel on your stomach and it's going to be cold."
"Ok." So the Dr. B put the gel on my stomach, he took the sonogram stick and moved it on my belly and keep looking back and forth at the screen. As I looked at the screen, I saw something little.
"Doc is that my baby?"
"Yes and it's still developing; by next month it was start to grow bigger and bigger."
"Ok."
"Well you're baby seems to be fine and it will remain healthy if you stay healthy and eat the right foods. I would like to see you in 2 months."
"Ok thanks Doc." Then David helped me off the bed and we both left.
When we got to the car, David seemed very happy.
"Baby, let's go shopping," David said.
"For what?"
"Baby supplies."
"But we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet."
"I know but let's just buy unisex clothes."
"Ok." So David and I headed to the mall. When we got to the mall, we went to the baby shop and looked around. We saw cute clothes, cribs, strollers and baby toys.
"Baby, look at this," I said picking up a little pajama one piece.
"That is tiny, I can picture our child in that all ready," he said smiling. We both decided to buy some clothes. We bought mostly red clothes because it can go for either one: boy or girl. Next we went to the utilities part of the store. We looked at the different cribs and we finely decided on one. We got a crib that was made out of metal and it was white. Next we went to the supplies section. We bought a lot of diapers, bottles, wipes, a 5 set of bibs and a 10 set of pacifiers. We also bought blankets, sheets, pillows, jacket and shoes. We didn't buy anything else because we were packed with bags and couldn't hold anymore. When we got to the car, we put all our bags in the car and drove home. When we got home, we took out the bags and took them upstairs. When we got upstairs, we took everything into Brianna's old room. In her room, her bed and dressers were still there. We put the blankets, clothes, diapers and sheets in to the dressers. We hang up the jackets and put the shoes into the closet. When we finished that, I helped David put the crib together. When we were done, it was after 10 already and David and I just lay on Brianna's old bed and called it a night.
As I was sleeping, I had 2 dreams a bad and good one. In my first dream, I dreamt that I was already in my third month of pregnancy. My birthday came and David brought me something but it was blurry. The week after my birthday, on a Wednesday, as I was sleeping I felt like I wet myself. As I got up and went to the bathroom. When I sat on the toilet and looked at my underwear, my whole panty was full of blood. As I looked in the toilet, the toilet was full with blood too. As I got up and went back to my bed, David was still sleeping. I pulled up the blanket on my side and my side of the bed was full of blood. I was confused; why was I bleeding if I was pregnant, I can't have my period while I'm pregnant, I thought. This was all strange; then a troubling thought came to me. What if something was wrong with my baby? I was scared so I woke up David.
