Gideon walks back into the room, surprising Jind. He didn't expect him back so soon.

"I'm going to give you the respect of telling you what just happened. A team of agents raided an omega cell location. Actually, both of them. Our men are in place in Annandale as we speak. You gain nothing by remaining silent."

Your eyes widen when you see his energy shift colors to that of dark green. You snatch the radio so you can talk to Gideon.

"Jihad is forever."

"Gideon, we have to get Hotch out of there. Jind is relieved at what you just told him. This whole thing is a fucking trap."

"Excuse me," Gideon says as calmly as he can. Spencer already has Hotch on the line before Gideon can leave the room. As soon as he does, he grabs the phone and panics. "Get everybody out of there. Now! Now! Now!"

The chatter that Penelope found online was a setup because they knew your team would be listening in. From what you heard, no one from your team was killed or even hurt, but one of the SWAT agents lost their life because of this. This angers Gideon so much and pissed you off. Everything about Jind is bothering the hell out of you.

"Are they okay?" Spencer says when Gideon comes back.

"It was rigged to explode. A SWAT agent was killed."

"Was anthrax involved?" Emily wonders.

"No."

"Then that's not the final target."

Gideon marches back into the room, and you don't miss the smirk Jind is trying to hide.

"You look troubled, my friend."

"You killed one of my men."

"I was here with you."

"The second location was a trap. One of my agents was killed in the explosion."

"This is war. We expect casualties. Shouldn't you?"

"He was a good man."

"Well, if he would convert, there would be no reason for him to fear death."

"What do you say to his family?"

Just like that, Jind's energy turns blue. It's still red since he is male and men have red energies, but there is a bluish hue to it. He's sad and is getting emotional once again.

"Gideon, this was never about terrorism. It's about revenge. He's so hurt by his son's death that he would do anything to avenge him."

"His son?" Emily asks.

"It would only make sense that someone close to him died in the bombing."

"I say: Where were you to mourn when my son was murdered?"

"We know he was lying. That first story wasn't about him. It was about his son."

"Which means it must have been more recent." Spencer requests a video chat with Penelope to which she accepts it. "I need you to look for a bombing again in Egypt, but this time anything in the last ten years."

"On it."

"We're looking for civilian casualties, an eight-year-old boy."

"Okay. I'm cross-referencing bombings and child victims. Seven years ago, in the heart of Cairo, the Egyptian government blamed Hezbollah, but conspiracy theories on the street claimed it was a joint US-Israeli strike that went astray. Your ghost detainee's name is Jamal Abaza."

"How about his son's name? Do you have that?" you ask.

"Amir Abaza, eight. Killed in the blast."

"Alright. Find out everything you can on that. I'll get back to you soon." She hangs up the video chat as he grabs the radio to tell Gideon this. "We know his real identity."
