Long story short, Damon and I are now pretty good friends.
I've gotten along well with most of the Mystic Falls gang, and while Elena is a little over the top dramatic sometimes, I've gotten used to it, because Stefan does it too. They got together for a little bit, and she now knows that Stefan, Damon and I are vampires. While she's arguably a little terrified, she's hiding it quite well.
But then the doppelganger, Katherine Pierce, or Katerina Petrova, showed up. I ran into her once in 1932. She's freakishly nice, in her own sarcastic way. At least to me. Kinda treats me like an old chum, but I know better. She's definitely a psycho.
On another note, the Lockwood family, the people that basically run the town of Mystic Falls, have the werewolf gene, and another werewolf, Mason Lockwood, Tyler's uncle, showed up. Long story short, Tyler triggered his werewolf curse. And then Stefan and Elena broke up.
But that's where I'll leave things... for now.
