As you released your grip on Taehyung's arm you both gulped hard. As Lou scanned her eyes back and forth between you and her older brother you knew you had to speak up and speak up fast.

"Lou" you called softly, stepping away from Taehyung. "It's not what it looks like."
Lou scoffed sharply at your statement, "it's not what it looks like?" she laughed a little. "That's what they always say isn't it y/n, how long have you both been keeping this from me huh?"

Looking you up and down Lou took a step forward, "I should have known from the start. No wonder why you turned up early, no wonder why you both sat next to one another at lunch and the fact you pretty much begged me to allow him to stay with us tonight is beyond me!"

Your lower lip began to quiver, "Lou, this isn't her fault it was mine" Taehyung said finally speaking up. Looking across Lou looked at her bother in shame. "Standing up for her I see? Useless"

"I'm not standing up for her Lou" Taehyung replied, his voice much deeper and louder. "Me and y/n aren't even dating. I kissed her, I put the moves on her so don't blame your best friend for my doing."

"Bestfriend? Oh no" Lou shook her head. "Bestfriends don't keep secrets like this." Turning back to you Lou held up her arm, ushering it to the door, "I think you need to leave and never come back."
Your eyes widened, "Wait what? Lou you've just heard what Taehyung just said. We aren't even dating, he kissed me."

"But you had still the audacity to kiss back?" Lou questioned causing you to close your mouth. "I couldn't care less if I'm acting this way, no, but going behind my back and doing this isn't what best friends do-"

"LOU WE AREN'T DATING" you shouted causing her to stop her words. "We are telling the god damn truth, how many times do we have to repeat ourselves about all this? How much do you want us to scream and tell you nothing is going on?"

Looking down to you Taehyung couldn't help but agree with all your words, Lou was taking this too far, you would never lie to your lifetime best friend.

Putting your hands up in defence you'd finally given up. "If you seriously think I'm lying then I don't think we should be friends anymore. There's nothing to hide Lou and that's all I can say, I'm not going to fight for this anymore."

As you looked at Taehyung one last time you gathered your belongings and left the house.
Tears of sadness and anger ran down your cheeks as you drove back home, with all the energy you had Lou still wouldn't listen or accept the truth.

Taehyung's POV:
It had been two weeks since the incident and since then myself and Lou haven't spoken to one another nor made contact with y/n.

"What's happened between you both?" Our mother enquired as we sat up the dining table eating dinner. "Nothing" Lou mumbled as she moved a piece of Broccoli back and forth on her plate. Shaking my head continued to drink my water, "well Taehyung seems to think differently" she stated.

"Come on, you've not spoken of either of each other for however long" Our father pointed out causing us to look over in his direction. "It's nothing Dad just leave it" Lou snickered.

"I kissed y/n two weeks ago" I admitted causing both my mother and father to look at me with wide eyes, yet Lou's showed another kind of fierce.
