"Hey, pretty," Ivo's words made me laugh as he perched himself on the edge of my bed. I raised my brow at him and patted the space beside me. "Oh, we're that close, are we?"

"Shut up," I scoffed. "You're dating my brother. That means we immediately have to be close. And you're not an arsehole like some boys he's brought home, so you can be within a few centimetres of me."

"You are such a savage."

"I know," I smiled, feeling proud of myself. "That's why you need to be on your best behaviour because if I need to add you to that list of arseholes, I will."

"Alright, okay," with a chuckle, Ivo held his hands up in defence. I liked him a lot. "I will be on my absolute best behaviour, you don't need to worry about that."

"Good." I smiled, leaning backwards to rest my head against my pillow as I let out a gentle sigh. Lando dropped me off an hour or so ago whilst he headed out to train with Jon, and Micah was busy looking for a job closer to home since he was beginning to despise his more and more. So, to pass the time, Ivo and I decided to bond.

We agreed to go out tomorrow evening as a four, and I was so excited to spend that time with my brother and his boyfriend, and the love of my life. It made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

"So, how old were you when you moved to England?" I knew a little bit about Ivo's younger years, but only what Micah had told me. I was genuinely interested, too, and I noticed Ivo's eyes light up as he processed my question.

"I was two when we moved. My parents had lived in Croatia for five years after getting married, but mum wanted to move back home and dad also wanted to be back in London," Ivo smiled. "I was born in Dubrovnik, where my dad was born, and where my parents met. I don't really remember being there when I was little before we moved, but we visited at least twice a year as I was growing up. We still try to, as much as we can."

"Do you still have family over there? On your dad's side?"

"Most of his family still live in Dubrovnik," Ivo nodded his head. "My baka - that's my grandmother, his mum - and his brother live over there. His sister lives in Birmingham with her family."

"I've never been to Dubrovnik. Of course I've been to Croatia, but never Dubrovnik," I giggled. "You'll have to take us sometime, so we can meet all of your family."

"They're all desperate to meet Micah," it didn't take a genius to see how happy my brother made him. Even by saying his name, Ivo's cheeks were rosy red and a smile was tugging at his lips. "We can go over Christmas, maybe, when you have some time off."

"I'll clear my diary," whilst winking at Ivo, I scratched my head. "So, is Croatian your first language?"

"No, English is. My parents always wanted me to speak both, but because we were living here and I would be going to school here, they spoke to me mostly in English," I could sit and listen to Ivo speaking for hours. "When I was old enough to realise the difference - I think I was three - we started speaking in Croatian more."

"Three," I sighed. "God, I struggled with languages so much at school. Carlos is trying to teach me Spanish at the minute. I think it's going alright."

"Well, I can teach you bits of Croatian, too," Ivo pushed his hair backwards. "I can also speak German and Italian."
