Mobius watches Loki as he twirls the Tesseract in his hands, a look of defeat on the God of Mischiefs' face. "Listen, I can't offer you salvation, but maybe I can offer you something better," Mobius suggests, watching Loki. Slowly Loki stands, approaching Mobius as he speaks. "A fugitive Variant's been killing our Minutemen."
"And you need the God of Mischief to help you stop him?" Loki asks, arching an eyebrow.
"That's right."
"Why me?"
"The Variant we're hunting is... you."
Loki raises his eyebrows in shock, eyes widening as he looks at Mobius. "I beg your pardon?" Mobius nods, making Loki look down. "And what of Sigyn?" Loki suddenly asks.
"What?" Mobius gasps, confused by the sudden topic change.
"Sigyn, I saw her back in the cell they had me in on Midgard," Loki explains to Mobius.
"Sigyn's dead Loki," Mobius explains, putting down the pruning wand. "She died on Vanaheim years ago."
"No, I-I spoke to her. I saw her on Midgard. She took the form of this little girl as we spoke. But I saw Sigyn. I would never forget the face of the woman I love." Loki argues desperately. He knew Sigyn made him promise not to look for her, but maybe she was a variant. Maybe they could be together in the TVA. Maybe.
Mobius sighed, his shoulders relaxing in disappointment. "You saw Kidara Udaku. The girl Sigyn possessed." Loki only watched Mobius in confusion. Why would Sigyn possess some Midgardian girl? Releasing another sigh at Loki's silence, Mobius glanced over his shoulder before turning back to the god. "I can show you her timeline... if you're interested?"
Tilting his head, Loki watched Mobius before nodding. Nodding his head in return, Mobius moved to the table before Loki joined him.
"Let me just set it up..." Mobius muttered, pressing buttons on the device in front of him. Loki watched the man work before his attention was grabbed by the holograph screen in front of them. "Okay," Mobius exclaimed as they watched the holograph.
On it was a man and woman looking down at a little bundle they held in their arms. A small boy bounces around them, trying to look at the bundle.
"Kidara Udaku was originally born Aurora Farrington," Mobius said as the couple cooed down at the baby. "She was born to Thomas Farrington II and Elisabeth Farrington. They also had an older son named Thomas Farrington III."
Mobius jumps forward, now showing the same couple holding a small toddler as they speak to an elderly couple. The son stares up at his parents, rubbing his nose.
"Don't worry Tommy, when you feel better you will join us in our new home," Elisabeth coos to her son as she cupped his face, her husband holding little Aurora. "But for now, you have to stay with Grammy and Pops, okay?"
"It's just for a short time, Buddy, then our new adventure begins," Thomas II adds, bouncing Aurora. The small boy nods his head, looking up at his parents and baby sister sadly.
"When Aurora was three, Thomas II got a new job in Africa," Mobius explains as he pauses the image. From there, Loki was able to see the little girl clearly. The small child had curly dark brown hair and brown eyes, nothing like Sigyn. "She and her parents traveled there but left their eldest home with Thomas II's parents."
Another jump shows a thick jungle. Loki could distantly hear the sounds of screaming and fighting, the faint glow of a fire. Suddenly, little Aurora bursts through the foliage, tears falling down her face as she runs as fast as her toddler legs would go. Mobius pauses then, showing a perfect shot of the crying child. Loki recoils as he noticed blood dripping down the side of her head.
