Show me how to lie,
You're getting better all the time,
And turning all against the one,
Is an art that's hard to teach.~~~
July 15th, 2 pm.
Stan closed the big silver doors behind him, waving goodbye to his coworkers. He needed to leave earlier so he was going to talk to Clyde about their friends' wedding. The two best men working as a team. Problem is, they had no idea how to work with each other.
He entered his car, connecting his phone calls to the system via Bluetooth. As he started driving down the street, his phone started vibrating furiously in his pocket. Looking over at the screen placed at the front, the words "Clyde DaBaby" flickered softly.
"My man, Clyde! How's it goin'?" He greeted his friend loudly.
"Hey, dude! I know we said we would meet at my place, but my roommates have some people over, so we have to change meeting places."
"Assholes." Both of them whispered at the same time.
"Let me guess. Cartman brought friends over. Again?"
"Pretty much... when me and him decided to share an apartment with 2 other people, I never thought it would be such a disaster. And I'm supposed to be the irresponsible one!"
Stan laughed at that. He was supposed to be. At least when they were kids. But Stan will give Clyde some credit, he's grown up a little. He's still an idiot, but not as much as Cartman. They all changed physically too. Stan would admit it, he had gained some weight, but that's mostly the result of life in college. At least, that's the excuse he would use. Because Craig is in good shape, and they had the same classes together.
Clyde was a different story. He had always been a chubby kid, but he is currently in that phase where no matter how much he eats, he will stay good looking. Stan knows the guy won't look as good in a couple of years, but he will let the brunette live his life, for now.
Oh, sweet twenties... he wonders how all of them will turn out when they're 50. Now, Stan and Craig's gangs are either living in South Park (which is the case of Tweek, Craig, Kyle, and Butters), or in Denver. Everyone has a thing in common, though: Everyone has a job, and they all work in Denver. Except for Tweek, Butters, and Kyle. 'Of course, they had to be different.', Stan thought, rolling his eyes.
So they all met up quite often. Not everyday, like when they were kids. But sometimes they would all meet up at a Chinese restaurant in Denver, and have dinner there. To catch up on stuff.
That restaurant held so many memories. Cartman announced his relationship with Yentl there (no need to say, everyone was speechless); They all got drunk together for the first time there (not Tolkien and Jimmy, though. They took care of everyone that night. God bless their souls); and most importantly: Craig proposed to Tweek there. Stan remembers how everyone cheered and screamed, and of course, got drunk to "celebrate".
"Is he doing any good at his job, at least?"
"He is, don't worry. He's actually a good bouncer, as amazing as it seems. Dude, no joke. Yentl, is ruining him. She's Jewish, dude. And I'm starting to believe Cartman will become one as well."
"What does that have to do with anything?"
"It doesn't! That's the problem! I'm starting to think he will become a Rabbi, or something..."
