Day after day it reappears,
Night after night my heartbeat shows the fear,
Ghosts appear and fade away.

August 5th, 1 pm.

"Do you have everything you need?" Thomas asked his son as he put his coat on.

"For the fifth time: yes, I do."

"Why are you leaving so soon? Your interview is only at four." Tricia asked him.

"I'd rather be there 2 hours earlier, than 2 minutes late. It's one of NASA's companies we're talking about."

Laura sighed, putting a hand on her son's shoulder. "Craig... you know that, if you do get this job- which I hope you do- you will have to move to Denver. It's an hour trip from South Park."

He straightened his posture. He hadn't thought of that. "If I get the job today, I can always wait until me and Tweek move in together, after the wedding. We've been looking for houses in Denver anyway, so..."

"What about Tweek? He works here, in South Park."

"It's not really in Denver, it's like- in the border- Look, it doesn't matter! We have everything under control. Don't worry, I'll be fine."

"We know you will, son."

"I have my doubts." Tricia said and Craig flipped her off.

"I'm off now. I'll see you guys later."

And with that, he was out the door.

3:40 pm.

Opening the big, glass doors of the huge building, Craig felt like he would pass out at any moment. He had waited in the car for 30 minutes, until he got bored and decided to explore a bit more of the place. Now there were only 20 minutes left before the interview, and saying that he was nervous would be an understatement.

Tweek had texted him a Sticker, with the words "Go Get 'Em, Tiger!", making Craig feel a little more reassured. Even though the Sticker was 16 year old Clyde in a tiger costume.

Halloween that year was a cursed one...

He stepped forward to the receptionist, handing her his files.

"Ah, Mr. Tucker! You're finally here." She greeted with a smile, "Your interview will begin shortly. It will take place in the main office, on the fifth floor. Are you ready?"

"I want to believe I am..." He laughed nervously.

Kill me.

"Alright! That's the spirit! Good luck in there!"

He waved her goodbye, taking his papers back. When he got on the elevator, he felt like the world around him was spinning. Everything in that place was bigger than it should be. From the size of the hallways, to the length of the worker's uniforms. He was praying silently in the corner of the ridiculously enormous elevator, when he heard a familiar voice coming from behind him.

"Craig? Dude, is that you?!"

He turned around quickly, facing the person he would most likely find there. But of course, he forgot about it.
