I made a fire, and watching it burn,
Thought of your future,
With one foot in the past, now just how long will it last?
Now, now, now, have you no ambitions?~~~
August 18th, 11 am.
Craig yawned, finally leaving the grocery store. He unlocked his car, throwing the bags in the backseat. After an all-nighter at Tolkien's, he figured he should be considerate and buy lunch for him and his friends. He's feeling nice today.
Once he sat down, ready to drive away, his phone buzzed in his pocket, rhythmically. He sighed, taking it out, reading the messages displayed on the screen.
11:04 am.
"Tweek✨: I feel loke shit rn🧍♂️I'll neber drink that much again
Tweek✨: I woke up in Lenny's hotel room and got scared
Tweek✨: I threw up ywice, and Kenny literally threw me and Butters in the shiwer with cold water
Tweek✨: I want to go home💀💀"He chuckled.
"You: thank the poor guy for taking care of you lol. He called me yesterday while all of you were wasted in his car. He sounded like your mom."
Suddenly, he spotted a familiar figure leaving the grocery store. He smirked, honking the car's horn repeatedly, startling Ike, who looked immediately in his direction. He giggled as he flipped him off, and jogged over to his brother's friend.
"You need a ride home?"
Ike shrugged, looking around the parking lot.
"Thanks, buddy! That would mean a lot!" He smiled, opening the door. He sat on the passenger seat, gathering his grocery bags on his lap.
"How was last night with Karen and Tricia? I know Tricia had fun, cuz she spammed me with countless pictures in the morning."
The other smiled, scratching the soft stubble he had started growing on his jawline and chin. Stan and Cartman always teased him, saying he was growing pubes on his face. It was mostly a tease, because they knew it suited the boy.
"It was fun. We talked aboot buying drinks, but we're pretty sure you guys wouldn't be happy to see us drunk, am I right, pal?"
He's right. Him, Kyle, and Kenny wouldn't be the happiest to see their younger siblings drunk, especially when they were too busy getting wasted themselves. Last night, the three went out to a club for the first time, and they had spent the night over at Karen's house. When the girl moves to college (with the amazing grades she has), Stuart and Carol would have the house for themselves. Quite sad, but they'd manage.
"Right. That's very considerate of you guys." Craig bowed lightly, making Ike roll his eyes.
"What aboot you guys, eh? Did you have fun?"
"Well, I don't know about your brother, but I sure had fun."
"Did you go oot?"
"Nah. We stayed at Tolkien's, and we did drink a bit. But it was fun nevertheless." He sighed. The rest of the ride wasn't very productive. They listened to the music playing on the radio, but nothing more. Ike and Craig weren't the closest of friends, but they got along just fine. Upon reaching the boy's house, he pat his shoulder as a goodbye but Ike turned to him again.
