I see this life, like a swinging vine,
Swing my heart across the line.
And in my face is flashing signs,
Seek it out and ye shall find.~~~
August 1st, 8 pm.
Tweek got out of the bathroom, drying his messy hair with a towel, finding Craig talking to someone on the phone in his bed. He kept drying his hair slowly, so he could hear the conversation.
"Craig, dude, I'm telling you! I don't know what to do!" What seemed like Stan's voice, screamed from the other side of the line.
"Then why the hell did you call me?!"
"Because I called Tweek twice already, and he isn't picking up the phone!!"
"The man is taking a shower, dude! Let him breathe!"
"Craig, I'm begging you! I need help! Kyle is going out with a friend from work on Wednesday, and I'm scared! What if they like each other??"
"And why do you care?" Craig raised an eyebrow, spotting his boyfriend at the door, signaling for him to come in. Tweek sat on the bed next to his boyfriend, listening to the rest of the conversation.
"Because I like him. There, I said it. Tweek knows about it, that's why I wanted to talk to him. But I guess you would understand too, since you know... but man, please, what do I do?!"
"Stan, words cannot explain how much I do not give a fuck about your gay love life."
"Oh, give me that!" Tweek protested, taking the phone in his hands. "Hello, Stan?"
"TWEEK, MY ANGEL!!"
He sighed, "Have you been drinking again?"
"...No?"
"Bullshit." Craig rolled his eyes.
"Stan, if you're so worried about Kyle and this friend of his, why don't you talk to him? You guys are super best friends, right? He would tell you if he liked that guy."
"Because he might think I like him!!"
Tweek and Craig exchanged looks, "Well, don't you?"
"Yeah, but he's not supposed to know!"
"Oh man..."
"Stan, dude, I think it's better that you sober up, first. You might think clearer that way." The ravenhead said, this time in a calming way. He wasn't drinking as frequently as before, but the habit was still there. Craig doesn't really blame him, since when they were teenagers, they would often drink together. All of them. Including Butters, (which is something nobody wants to remember. Drunk Butters is a survival experience).
A sigh was heard, "I guess you're right... I'll think about it tomorrow. Thanks, you guys."
"You're welcome, man. Go rest." Tweek said, hanging up the phone. Craig groaned.
"I don't know how you can be so calm when that guy starts talking."
"Well, he's my friend, right? Friends help each other." The blond answered, putting on a white T-shirt he would use as pajamas.
Craig's parents were out of town for the week, and Tricia was having a sleepover at a friend's house, so he might as well invite his boyfriend to spend the night over. He thought that, since they have done everything, (including eating, brushing their teeth, and taking a shower) they could spend some time together, just the two of them. Tweek's class was in summer vacation, which meant that he was free for the next two months (at least, until after their honeymoon). And Craig is still looking for a job. Stan had told him that he would talk to his boss about his situation- since both of them work in the same area- but the man just seems to forget about it every time. So, Craig kind of gave up on it. He would talk to him personally. He had sent an email to the man who was responsible for the company, and was still waiting for an answer back.
