Hymn For The Weekend

Oh, angel sent from up above,
I feel you coursing through my blood,
Life is a drink and your love's about,
To make the stars come out.

September 16th, 12 am.

Craig looked out the window, elbowing Tweek twice to make him look as well. The blond did as told, looking up from his phone, gasping when he saw the view.

They were in a taxi, on their way to a bar, after a long dinner on a restaurant in the marina. The place at night was beautiful! The colorful lights that decorated the street and the restaurants; the street artists performing their beautiful pieces; the happy families enjoying their summer while music played in the background... They saw some dumb drunk teenagers jumping in the water near the boats, and some people had to intervene, but apart from that, it was a beautiful experience!

Now, on their way to the docks, Craig was mesmerized by the view in front of him. They had seen the life at night in the marina, but not the one in the city. They had asked the driver to go to a bar they had found on the internet, which is considered famous among the local youth. It can be seen as both a fun experience and a disaster.

Exactly what they want!

"Woah... this is beautiful...!" Tweek exclaimed, opening the window of the taxi to feel the warm summer breeze, listening to the music playing in the background. Craig smiled, taking a picture of his husband, without him noticing. He'll be sure to keep that one.

"Welp. This is Lisbon for you. " The driver said, catching the boys' attention. "This place is like the heart of the district. Everyone comes here all the time. And because of that, it can be either a really fun time, or an unfathomable dystopian horror. Oh, lookie here! We arrived at the docks!"

He stopped the car, Craig giving the man the money he owed.

"You guys have fun, and be careful. If I were you, I would stay outside. You don't know how these teenagers can be, sometimes. But because you're tourists, you'll get in just fine. Have fun and don't drink too much." He winked, the two men chuckling. They didn't have "getting drunk" as their main goal today. Especially because they're in a different country, and they don't wanna risk it.

So that's what they did. They had their fun, drank a bit, but didn't abuse it. 3 hours later they called a taxi, and went back to the hotel.

Today has been exhausting, to say the least.

5 am.

He woke up in the middle of a forest, completely covered in dirt.

He looked around, seeing the abundant amount of tall trees surrounding him, as the morning rays of sunshine pierced through the branches and the leaves.

If he wasn't dreaming, Craig would be scared shitless right now. The trees were so tall, they looked infinite, almost. He started pacing around, feeling the sharp sensation of thorns and grass on his skin. But, somehow, he couldn't bring himself to care. He wasn't... scared, surprisingly. He was curious, almost.

He walked and walked, until he heard the sound of water. Looking to his right, he saw a river with crystal clear water. He ran up to it, washing the cuts on his feet with the cold water, as the warm breeze embraced him.
