Do I Wanna Know?

Do I wanna know,
If this feeling flows both ways?
Sad to see you go,
Was sorta hoping that you’d stay.
Baby, we both know,
That the nights were mainly made,
For saying things that you can’t say tomorrow day...

"Wait, so let me get this straight: The four of you were in Wendy and Bebe's hotel room, and then Bebe asked if Kyle had a crush, and he said 'yes', and it's actually the coworker you told me about, and that's when you left?"

Stan nodded, "Pretty much, yeah..."

"...I don't know why, but I have the feeling that there's a misunderstanding here. I mean, he would tell you waaaay before today, if he had gotten a date."

"That's what I thought!"

"Listen, I think I have a solution for this. Why don't we-" Tweek stared at his phone, that had started ringing, "... Call... Kyle...?" He suggested. Sometimes, he feels like the hills have eyes everytime he starts thinking. He showed Stan his screen.

"Kyley-B is calling you".

The man gasped loudly, screaming at Tweek for him to not pick up the phone. The blond smirked, however, and pressed the green button, Stan flipping him off with both hands. He huffed, throwing himself back on the pillow.

"Hey, Kyle!"

"Hey, Tweek. Listen- I know it's unlikely, but have you heard from Stan? He suddenly ran off, and he's not picking up the phone and-..." He took a deep breath, "...And I'm worried."

He smirked at the other from across the room, who was gesturing for him not to say anything about his whereabouts.

"Oh! I'm sorry, Kyle. Something very important happened and I texted Stan to come as quickly as possible. Everything is okay, don't worry."

"Oh... okay... could you tell him to at least text me when he's done with whatever he's doing...? I'd like to hear from him. Also, I hope everything is okay over there."

"O-oh, everything's fine. Don't worry! I'll tell him to text you! Have a good night, man!"

"Thanks, Tweek. Have a good night!"

They hung up, and a moment passed before Stan started throwing pillows at his friend. He started laughing uncontrollably, trying to protect himself from the other's attacks.

"I give, I give!! Stop throwing stuff, damn it! It's fine, dude! See? He's reassured now! And he doesn't know why you're here."

"You're gonna kill me someday, dude..."

Tweek laughed, letting out a scream when he heard knocking at the door.

"Tweek! Dinner's ready! Would you like to join us, Stan?" Mrs Tweak asked from the other side of the door.

Stan looked at his friend with pleading eyes, Tweek mouthing him an "of course".

The ravenhead sighed, "Yes, Mrs Tweak! I'd love to!"

Stan waved his friend goodbye as he left to the cold, silent, dark street. Maybe this wasn't so bad. He missed South Park, as bad as the town was. Sure, it was full of rednecks, and idiots, but it was the little mountain town he grew up in. It's also the reason why he has so many good, life-long friends by his side.
