He finally struggled out of bed and got dressed to find Vince patiently waiting on the couch. Yep. That was definitely regret in his stomach. This was not going to work. Howard wondered what had happened to Vince’s other girlfriends. Vince claimed they hadn’t understood him or his fashion, but Howard was beginning to suspect that Vince was too clingy. They weren’t even dating, for god’s sake! No. They hadn’t talked about it or anything. Vince was just being clingy. That was it.
Howard sighed as he sat next to Vince. Too clingy, he thought to himself as Vince snuggled up to him. Howard absent-mindedly wrapped his arm around Vince to pull him closer as he thought. He had been doing an awful lot of that, he realised. Thinking. Well, it’s not like he could say it out loud.
His stomach growled.
Vince gave him an innocent smile. “Breakfast.”
Howard rolled his eyes as he stood up. “Yeah, yeah.”
