William's Point of view

"Mam what's going on" I ask her as she comes to the table "Will lad we need to talk" she says to me Diane looks across at me her face panicked "Is something wrong" Diane's mother asks and Mam looks straight at her "I need to speak to my son" she says "Mam what the hell is this we are trying to have dinner" I tell her "This lad is more important than dinner" she says and she looks me full on, her face telling me that what she says is true. "Excuse me" I say standing up "What the hell are you playing at" I snap at Mam "Hey watch your mouth boy" she snaps back "I've got something I need to tell you" she says "Well surely it can wait" I say to her and she makes that face again only this time it's almost like she wants to cry "Mam" I ask "Oh Will" she says "Mam you're scaring me" I say to her "Please tell me" I ask of her and she begins to speak my heart racing out of control.

Lisa's Point Of View

"I've ruined everything" I sob sitting on the edge of the bed as Ben comes to kneel at my feet "No darling you haven't" he says "I should have kept my mouth shut" I snap "But that's not you, you don;t lie my darling" he says to me "But we don't know why she did it, we've all done things we are not proud of Ben" I tell him "Yes but when you love someone darling like she says she loves Dad you tell the truth" I jump off the bed "We might as well start packing now seeing as I have ruined everyone's holiday" I say grabbing the suitcases throwing them on the bed "No Mummy I don't want to go home yet" Riley shouts. I start humping and lifting the cases and bags "Lis stop it darling" Ben says but I carry on doing it "Lisa" he shouts to me "LISA STOP THIS NOW" he shouts grabbing the bag from me

He grabs hold of me by the arms "Look at me Lis" he says as I lift my head "Now Stop" he says guiding to sit on the sofa in our suite. My breathing is rapid "Hush darling calm down for the boys" he syas rubbing his hand across my tummy. "Just breathe baby" he says as I calm myself down

"Baby when we met, we had things locked inside that no one else knew about and yet we opened to each other" he says "Because I needed you to know what had happened to me Ben" I say "Exactly, the same as I needed you to know what I had been through too" he says "We share everything sweetheart that is how it should be and if Diane wants to be with Dad she needs to do the same, Gran isn't doing this to hurt anyone" he says "But what if Diane is using Dad" I say suddenly afraid of all that's surfacing "then she needs to know that in this family that isn't how it is" he says "We gave her a home risked a great deal for her darling Jesus Christ we could have died because of her" he says which I know is true "It's up to her and up to Dad what they do from here" he says "But it has to be sorted" he says

I look at him barely able to hold back my sobs "I just don't want Dad to get hurt Ben, I love him like my own Dad" I say to him and he smiles stroking my hair from my forehead "I know darling and he loves you too, almost as much as I do" he smiles "But then no one will ever love you as much as I do" he says and I smile back at him "Dad will understand the same as Gran does, she......she does has her way of dealing with things" he says making me laugh gently "That she does" I say as he wraps his arms around me kissing me on the top of my head causing my scalp to tingle at the sensation of his breath against my skin.

Williams Point Of View

"What" I whisper to Mam not really taking in what she has just told me "it's true lad" she says "what.......I I'm sorry I don't believe this" I say to her "she told Lisa son, she thought she had to say something" she says "well how do you know it's true" I snap "are you saying our Lisa is a liar because you know damn well that girl could never tell a lie" she says sternly glaring at me causing me to turn my head away "she told Ben and Ben came and told me" I look at her "they don't want you getting hurt" I put my hands to my hair gripping that tight that it hurts "why wouldn't she tell me" I say and Mam looks at me shaking her head "you need to ask her that lad" she says.
