Lisa's Point Of View

"Call a Paramedic" I hear them shout but I'm just looking at the floor and all I can hear is Ben screaming my name it's breaking my heart. A steward comes running up to me "Mrs Langley are you alright" she asks "Just leave me alone" I sob to her "Please let me help you" she says "I WANT MY HUSBAND" I shout "ORDER ORDER" I hear the judge shout this is getting ridiculous, when out of no where the judge comes to my feet "Mrs Langley please just calm down" he says "Please we can take a break and you can see your husband" he says and I look at him and nod my head as I'm led away, I take a quick look up at everyone and the look on Dad and Marcus's face hurts me, Gran is stronger where does she get it from and where can I get some.

I'm taken out of the court room and down a long corridor "Where is my husband" I ask him "He's in the cells" he says "What, why" I panic "For his own good" he tells me "This is crazy we are not the criminals here" I shout at him as he takes me to where they have Ben.

They unlock the cell and I look inside, he's sat on the bed with his head in his hands but Jesus I'm so pleased to see him "Ben" I sob softly as he lifts his head "Sweetheart" he says running up to me "God I'm sorry" he says "Are you alright, the boys you were hurting" he says placing his hands on my bump, he's crying "I'm alright, I'm alright" I whisper to him pulling his face down to mine "Are you sure Sweetheart, you're not lying to me, please tell me" he says so rushed he can barely get the words out "Baby I put it on" I say looking to see if anyone is listening "I couldn't let them take you away" I tell him "Oh darling" he says to me pulling me into his arms. As he holds me close I ask softly in his ear "Why didn't you tell me you went to see him" and he answers "Why didn't you tell me he wrote to you"  while still holding me so tight "fair point"  I reply as I pull myself to look at him.

"I didn't even open the letter I just got rid, I didn't want him causing any more trouble" I tell him and he strokes my face "Did you threaten him" I ask Ben "Yes I did" he says without even having to think about it. "he threatened you darling, it was just days before you went into labour with Freja I wasn't letting him get away with that" he says "You really would do anything wouldn't you sweetie" I ask "I would walk through fire for you darling" he says as I look him deep in the eye taking hold of his hands "So how about we put this to bed" I say "I think we should" he says

A few Days later

All the witnesses have been called, everyone has had their say Matt, Kenny and Vanessa tried their best to get out of it none of it really coming to much. The judge gave his summing up and had little to say in their favour. We all sit  outside waiting for the jury to come to their decision a fifty fifty chance which way would the pendulum swing. "They're back in" The prosecution barrister calls us as we all stand up everyone nervous, everyone fearful

"Members of the jury how do you find the defendant Matthew Lloyd Morgan Guilty or not Guilty" the clerk asks as I grip onto Ben's hand so tightly feeling so sick "Guilty" the man replies, I say nothing but feel a tear fall down my face, I look at Matt from the stand as he turns to me suddenly empty and hollow looking. "How do you find the defendant Kenneth Lloyd Morgan, Guilty or Not Guilty" he asks again "Guilty" Jennifer is in tears with her head in her hands but I feel nothing. "And How do you find the defendant Vanessa Jane Wilkes, Guilty or Not Guilty" he asks a final time "Guilty" he says as Vanessa breaks down suddenly screaming into her hands just like Jennifer but again my sympathy has run dry. Ben puts his arms around me bringing me to him "It's alright darling it's all over now" he whispers as we all turn back to the judge who has chosen to sentence them all today.

"This case has been one of many twists and turns, but the fact of the matter is at the heart of the lies and the plotting and scheming was a young woman who didn't ask to be treated the way she was, as brothers you have shown no loyalty to each other and showed no care to the two children at the centre of this family, a family that you chose to bully and abuse even after Lisa Langley chose to make a new life. It wasn't enough for you to ruin her life you then both set about the demolition of the new life she had made with her new husband, Miss Wilkes you have clearly been dragged into this due to your relationship with Matthew but you chose to go along with and set a path of destruction that was only to cause pain to the Langley family because of your bitterness towards Mr Langley himself" he says so calmly
