Chapter 24

Kill him?

"Just stay here" soon as Jane said that Rogue and her prepared their self to fight them.

"I'll take these three, you take that crazy man" Rogue said and Jane nodded. I still don't know what to do.. I want to stop Jane before she can have a chance to kill him or all of them to get hurt but what should I supposed to do? What can I do?

Nothing..

"Slender and the others will be here soon, don't worry" Rogue said before charging to those fake LJ and Masky and Jane slowly walks towards Jeff who is grinning at us.

"I've been waiting for this day to come" she said then pull out her knife.

"Why don't you move aside and let me get what's really for me" Jeff said with a tease on his tone that made Jane scoffs.

"Why don't you just--" she stopped then plunged to him. "--DIE!" she yelled and charge her knife at his face but Jeff immediately move his arm to stop it.

"Funny thing is.. I can't die unless I killed everyone. Including YOU and her" he said then glance at me. Jane groans because of her anger and pull back. With an incredible speed, Jeff runs towards her targeting her stomach but Jane dodge it by moving to the other side and knees his abdomen makes him groan in pain.

"Hrrmph!" Then Jeff instantly moved his knife and swing it to her leaving a slice in her upper chest. As some liquid drop to her dress, Jeff became more excited and became more faster than before. He's throwing attacks with his knife and Jane only did is to dodge looks like Jeff doesn't want to give her a chance to fight back.

Seeing them fighting and protecting me makes me mlre anxious about myself. I tried to think of a plan on how can I help them or either stop this then he suddenly pops in my mind. I look at him who's standing far from me.

"You.. you're the one who did this" I mumbled to myself then in just a blink of an eye he appeared infront of me, standing while giving me a wide smile.

"No, its what he wants and I just help him"

"No! Maybe.. he is a killer but.."

"But what?" He asks then walks around me like he is scanning everything on me. "You think he changed because of you? Care about you? And even.. spare your life?"

"I am not expecting him to spare my life but this--"

"He's just being him, being known as Jeff the Killer. What's wrong about that?" He ask then lean his face towards me but I pushed him away giving him my furious look.

"Your controlling him! He promised to kill me at the end of the month and.. I know, deep down to himself he is there-- he is just can't let go the past and still get hurt by what he did and I am telling you.." then I grabbed his hoodie and pulled towards me. "Killer or not he is my friend.. and surely he doesn't want anyone to control him."

"I told you I am not" then smack my hand to let go. "The voices in his head is too strong, that's the one who's controlling him and with that he is perfectly fit in our.. team" then he grins.

"Argh!" Then I heard Jane groaning like he was thrown on the ground.

"Jane!" I yelled while she is trying to get up but then Jeff notice it and look at me then a hand appeared from the back of my shoulder.

"Why don't you two have a face to face so that you'll know more about your friend" he whispered then Jeff slowly walks towards me. Steps and more steps are becoming faster. All I did is to look straight to his face while he's face shows an excitement and my face never shows fears but only sadness.

Sad.. because of what he become.

Sad.. because this is the last thing I'll see before he kills me now.

Sad.. because I've never got a chance to--

"Huh?" Then he look at his waist with a knife just pierced inside.

"Die, asshole!" Jane said as she pull it out and push it in.

"Stop!" Then I rush towards them while Jeff is trying to fight back at her but because of the injure he get, Jane is now more stronger than him. "Jane! Please! Stop!" Then when I get near I quitely pushed her and look at Jeff while grabbing his wound.

"Argh.. hehe, its so many blood" he laugh then fell down but I immediately caught him and slowly put him down.

"J-Jeff.. no" I whispered to myself as tears won't stop on pouring from my eyes. I do not know what's happening around me because the only thing I can think of now is him. "H-Hang in there.. Slender will--"

"Must.. kill you. I must.. kill everyone" he weakly said as he lift up his knife by his left hand. Then tears drop to his hoodie while biting my lip.

".. you are always im a hurry huh? Sometimes-- no, I always don't get you, and you always makes me feel that I am the worthless person alive on earth but.. you are the only friend I have right now.. and you promised to me that you'll kill me right?" I said while staring at him while his face is locking to mine then I hold his hand who's holding the knife and placed it in my heart and lean closer to him.

"Before I die.. I just want to thank you. Even though I am worthless still you cared flr me even if its not your intention to save me. Thank you you've never know how glad I am" then hug him for the last time before he struck his knife to my heart.

"Y/N!" I heard them yell as he put his knife to my back. He wants to kill me in the back..

"If that's what you want.. do it" and then the knife who supposedly kill me suddenly fall down to the ground. "Wha--" then I just stop, instead he kills me like he want to he hugged me tightly.

"There's also one thing you need to know" he whispered.

"I can't, I still need you"
