Chapter 25

• Rogue's PoV

How's Y/N and Jane? Ask Slender as soon I walk inside his room.

"Both of them are fine, only Jeff is in critical conditions" I answered and stand up infront of his desk.

Jeff is a strong kid, he will survive and I just give him the best medication I've got.

"Yes.." I sighed.

How about the Zalgo's Proxies? Did you got an information about them?

"No, but this woman named Jane knew alot about them." Then Slender nods. To be honest, I didn't expect that insane mam will get back to his sense after Y/N get near to him. I though he'll slice her throat or either kill her in the back in an instant but.. I was wrong. This is the first time I saw him drop his knife for a woman.

Why are you dazing out, Rogue?

"Its.. about Jeff, his behaviour back in the forest still shocking me" I answered and sat sown in one of the sofa.

Sometimes we never know it until we seen it. He said then stand up from his chair and look at his big window near me. All of us had a past that change us, the way how we view things but it doesn't mean that we can't change.

"You mean.. we can possibly stop killing who deserves to die?" I ask then he faced me.

It is not me who need to answer that. then I just look away. Yes, we are killers known as cruelest one and some of us are always in a rampage to kill. We became like this because of what we experienced that changes us and it is hard for us to let go and just.. forget everything.

"I'll take my leave now" then head to the door without looking back. I spilled a lot of blood by my hands, I always killed people who deserves to die and I do not know if I can stop it because human never stops to act like an animal.

I went to the room of Jeff and shut the door. Y/N is also here sleeping near him. I get closer to him who I can't tell if he is sleeping or jusy staring at the ceiling. I hold my knife from my back tightly..

He is the one who I need to kill too, I will start from him.

"Do you think I'm asleep?" He said that made me stop but also I expected it.

"I just had a doubt."

"Heh.." then he sat down lifting his left leg and placed his arm above the knee. He groans a little because of the wound in his right waist and look at me. "A good advice.. if you want to kill someone make sure he's asleep and unweapon" then he pull out his knife from the back of his pillow.

I just giggled and pulled back my knife.

"I forgot I have a claw gloves to scratch your pretty face" I said then lift up my hand to look at it then to him.

"Signs of ageing?"

"Tell me, why didn't you do it?"

"What? To attack you while you thought I'm asleep?"

"No-"

"Oh, about teasing you that your getting old and forget that you have a claw shit in your hand?" He teased more and by that I can't refrain my temper and grab his neck and lift up my right hand.

"How nice, we both have each other" then I realize his knife is now near my neck. "Who is faster? Do you want to know who?" He asks then grin.

"How come, an insane man like you can't even strike a knife to his victim?" I giggled.

"In you--"

"To Y/N" soon I mentioned her name he pushed me away as if he want to dodge thay question.

"If you want to fight me then wait until I get enough rest"

"I'm not interested about that" then I look at Y/N who is sleeping peacefully. "In case you didn't know.. she almost die risking her life to you" I said then he looked at her but then again, there are no intentions of hatred or to kill this women from his eyes.

"You've change"

"Changed? Heh.. its still me" he answered then placed his hand above Y/N's head patting it gently.

"Do you like Y/N?" I ask then the glow of the moon shine to us as I wait for his answer.

"Like? I don't know.. but I don't want her to die yet, that's all I know" he answered. Clearly he is still unsure about whay he feels or maybe he also forget what is called about that feeling.

"But she wanted to die, right?" But he did not respond. "So, change her mind as how he changes you" then I take my leave heading to my room. I went to the balcony and stared at the moon.

All of us can change if we want to and if we have a reason to change. Jeff already finds that reason and I can see how he changed from being a cruelest killer and insane man to the man I've never know who can care and love but again.. he doesn't know what's his actual feelings to her.

But I'm afraid once Y/N leaves what will gonna happen to that kid.. if ever he did not do as what Y/N wishes I'm sure they'll argue because now I know why Y/N wanted so badly to die. At first I feel bad for her by carrying it all alone without telling her parents anything about it.

I head to my desks and open the firsy drawer revealing some medicines from Y/N's house the first time LJ brought her here when she's unconscious. But.. she can be cure if she wants to, thay is why if Jeff succeeded to change her mind then those two can live longer.. together.

But if he did not succeeded and still don't want to kill her then time will.

He only have a short time to think, I hope Y/N will tell him about her illness.
