Calum decided to not sleep that night. Instead he kept himself busy with brewing a potion. It would contain Luke's powers temporarily.
He needed this in order to help Allison keep his secret.
He used Luke's blood and some herbs Michael recently got.
The liquid turned purple like Luke's eye color whenever he used his powers.
"Perfect," he whispered to himself. A small smile played on his lips when he examined the newly brewed potion.
He looked at the clock and saw that it was half three.
He walked quietly up the stairs and towards Allison's room. He opened the door softly and that's when Allison woke up.
She slowly lifted her head from her pillow and looked directly into Calum's eyes.
"Morning, Alli. It's time," the kiwi looking demon said.
"Morning, I'm just gonna get dressed real quick," she yawned while she stretched herself.
He nodded and closed her door again. Calum waited patiently outside while Allison got dressed in a legging, a loose fitting shirt and a warm hoodie.
Within five minutes Allison opened the door and joined Calum.
"All right, lets go," he mumbled and walked quietly downstairs with Allison following him.
The two reached the door when suddenly the lights flickered on.
Calum quickly pushed Allison behind the couch a put his finger to his lips when he saw that she was about to yell at him.
Luke became visible when he stepped down from the last steps of the staircase.
He looked suspicious at Calum and looked around to see if anyone else was with him.
"What are you doing up so late, Calum?" The blonde asked.
"I could ask you the same,"
Luke rolled his eyes at his behavior but answered anyway, "I heard someone talking downstairs so I came to check it out... Who were you talking to anyway?"
"No one," he answered way to quickly.
"Okay... now why are you up?" Luke asked.
"I'm hungry so I decided to go and capture some souls," Calum replied.
"But we went yesterday?" He said suspicious, "don't lie to me, Hood."
"Okay fine, I want to release my frustrations on some stupid humans that decided staying out this late was a good plan," He lied.
"Why didn't you say so? I'll come with you," Luke said, stepping closer.
"No! I mean I just want to be alone right now," he sighed.
"You got to stop shutting me out, Cal. Look I know what I did was wrong, but you got to understand... you wouldn't tell anyone about what happened that night. I was worried about you," he explained himself.
"That still didn't give you the right to do that," Calum sharply replied.
"I know and I'm sorry, but please... I want my best friend back," Luke pleaded.
Allison, who was stilling laying down behind the couch, heard the whole conversation and was shocked to hear Luke's pleading voice. She was so used to his confident and happy self that she could barely believe that this was indeed the blond speaking.
Calum's eyes darted towards Allison for a split second and saw that she gave him an encouraging smile.
"We could do something when we get a day off from Allison's training schedule," He slowly suggested.
