Allison arrived at her car. She locked it and looked at the house to her right that was for sale. At least, that was the case yesterday. It was sold now.

She was confused that she didn't see it this morning. But then she realized that she was in a rush.

She realized something, though. There were suddenly four new boys in school who have to live somewhere...

"Oh no," Allison whispered.

She quickly entered her house and slammed the door shut, leaning against it.

"Allison! No slamming doors. I've told you before," her mom exclaimed as she walked down the stairs.

"Mom? You're home?" Allison asked surprised.

"Yes, there was a gas leak in the building so I dismissed everyone for the day. Tomorrow, everything will be fixed so you'll be home alone again 'till eight," she explained.

"Great," Allison mumbled.

"Anyways, how was school?" The older woman asked.

"Good," she simply answered.

"Marvelous. Oh, before I forget. You may have noticed that the house next door is sold. I want you to give them the welcome basket that's standing on the counter," she ordered.

"Why do I have to do it?" Allison asked.

"Because I say so," Allison's mom answered.

"But that's not even a good argument," She protested.

"Thanks, Alli. You're a dear," her mom said pushing her out of the house with the basket and ignoring her protests.

Allison groaned at her mom being unreasonable.

She decided to go to her new neighbors anyway because her mom wouldn't let her in otherwise.

She walked to their front door and knocked two times.

She waited a couple seconds before Ashton opened the door.

"Allison? Did you change your mind?" He asked her.

"Change my mind?" She asked confused.

"About Luke's proposal?" He said.

"Oh no. My mom wanted me to welcome you to the neighborhood. She made you a basket," Allison explained, handing him the basket.

"Thank you," He thanked her," so you live around here?"

"Yeah, I live right next door actually" She said.

"Really? That's cool. Do you wanna come in?" He asked.

"Oh, I don't know if..."

Allison got cut of by the tall blonde who appeared behind Ashton.

"Look who decided to come! Ashton, don't let the pretty girl stay outside. Come in!" Luke enthusiastically said and pulled the young girl inside their house.

"Guess you don't have a choice," Ashton whispered under his breath as I passed him.

"So this is the hallway, to your right is the living room, to your left is the kitchen. Over there is a door to our basement or better known as our 'mancave'. Up the stairs is a room for each one of us, a spare room and of course bathrooms. The toilet is over there  and that's pretty much it I think" Luke said as he finished  the house tour.
