Allison couldn't use her car like that so she had only one option left: walk to school.
She started the long walk while kicking a rock in frustration every now and then.
"Stupid people who ruined my car," she said to no one in particular.
She searched through her bag, looking for some cigarettes but they weren't there of course.
"God damn it," she sighed in frustration.
Luckily there was a small shop on her way to school so she decided to stop there first.
Allison bought some food for during lunch and of course cigarettes.
"You know that smoking is bad for you, right? Especially at this age," the lady behind the checkout told her.
"I know," Allison replied.
"Then why do you do it?" She asked.
"Why do you breath?" The younger girl asked.
"To live?" The Lady answered unsure.
"Exactly," Allison said.
"That'll be 20," she said.
Allison handed her the money and left the store.
Once she stepped a foot outside she lightened a cigarette.
She blew the smoke out and sighed in relief.
Meanwhile the boys, except for Calum, were worried about Allison not showing up for first period.
"What is taking her so long?" Luke whispered to his friends.
"I don't know, maybe hunters," Michael said. This sparked Calum's interest.
"Why would hunters go after her?" Ashton asked confused by Michael's statement.
"Maybe they're trying to catch one of us again," he explained.
"To bad that we don't care about her," Calum said, testing the other three.
The boys didn't react, just looked at each other.
"Right guys?" Calum asked.
Again no answer.
"Unbelievable," Calum scoffed, "you know her for a day."
"We know Cal, but there's something special about her," Michael tried to reason with him.
"Whatever, I'm done with this conversation," he said and left the classroom.
"Mr. Hood!" The teacher called after him but he ignored him. Her attention focused on the other three but they just shrugged their shoulders like they didn't know what had happened.
The teacher rolled her eyes and continued her class.
By the second period Allison arrived at school.
