After Calum left the room with Luke, they both went separately to their rooms.
Luke went back to sleep and Calum was planning to do the same, but someone prevented him from doing so.
And that someone was of cours Jake.
"Calum Hood, the dangerously evil demon that went on a killing spree and almost revealed our kind because of that," he said
"What do you want?" Calum asked uninterested.
"I want to help you," he answered.
"Help me? Since when is anything you do, meant to help someone?" He asked suspicious.
"I've changed," Jake defended himself.
"Never heard that one before," the younger demon scoffed.
"Alright there's something in it for me," he admitted.
"There it is, what'd you offer?" Calum asked.
"I can bring Lucy back-"
"You can't, I've tried everything. Sucks to be you but I'm not interested," he cut Jake off.
"Let me finish," Jake's voice boomed of the walls, "as I was saying, I can bring Lucy back. I know you think you've tried everything but I live in the shadow world now. There are other rules other here, other ways everything works,"
"What's the price?" Calum asked.
"I want you to kill Allison Parker," he replied.
"Why?" He asked confused.
"Because I wanna protect Ashton," Jake said.
"Since when do you care about your nephew? You used to do everything to make his live a living hell," Calum said, not believing a word the shadow self of Jake said.
"I can see and feel how he's growing and becoming the most powerful demon that ever excited. I can't stand seeing such talent go to waste because of a girl... not again," He explained.
"I'm not doing it," Calum decided.
"You're making a great mistake, Calum. Think about your loved one. Don't you want to be reunited with her?" Jake tried.
"What's dead should stay dead," Calum answered, "now leave me the hell alone!"
"She's going to die either way," he whispered darkly and disappeared out the house.
Calum went to bed after that and tried to get some sleep like the other boys and Allison in the house, but he couldn't.
Jake's words kept playing in his head.
After an hour he decided that it was useless to stay in bed so he got up and went downstairs.
He made breakfast while he waited for everyone to wake up.
Ashton was the first one downstairs.
He also didn't sleep much after what happened yesterday.
