Chapter 8

Everyone was peacefully asleep in the house 'till Allison suddenly woke up from a stinging pain in her back.

She tried to suppress a groan so she wouldn't wake up but with no success. Ashton had already woken up.

"What's wrong?" He asked her.

"I have this stinging pain in my back and no it's not because of my monthly torture. This is different," She said.

"May I see?" He asked.

She carefully lifted Ashton's shirt that she had changed into the other night.

Ashton was shocked when he saw three giant cuts on her back.

"Do you see anything?" Allison asked him.

"Uh, no, maybe you drank to much yesterday and this is just some weird side-effect," he lied.

"I didn't drink anything yesterday," The young girl said pulling the shirt back down.

"Are you sure? Maybe you just don't remember it..." Ashton said.

"No I'm pretty sure I didn't drink anything. You were getting me something but never returned, remember?" She said

"Yeah... Sorry about that," He said as he scratched the back of his neck.

"It's fine," she assured him.

"Okay, well, try to get back to sleep. I'm sure all of this will be over when you wake up," Ashton said.

"I hope so. Do you maybe have something against the pain?" Allison asked.

"I'll go look," he said and got up.

Allison turned her back to Ashton and he saw this as the perfect opportunity to put a sleeping spell on her.

Just as he preformed the spell, Michael passed by.

"Seriously, Ash? Did you forget what happened when Calum preformed a spell on her?" He scolded the older demon.

"Michael, just the person that I was looking for," Ashton said, ignoring what his friend just said, "look at her back."

Michael stepped in the room and lifted Allison's shirt softly up.

"What happened to her? Did you two have rough sex or something?" He asked him, examining the cuts.

"Very funny, Michael," Ashton said and rolled his eyes at him,"No, we didn't. She just woke up with those"

"I'll see what I can do," Michael said.

"Okay, I'm gonna have a talk with Calum," He said.

"Do you think he did it?" He asked his friend.

"She was alone with him yesterday, I'm pretty sure he has something to do with this," Ashton said determined.

He left the room and went to Calum's.

"Wake up," Ashton said as he saw that Calum was still asleep.
