Allison Parker woke up and walked straight in to the bathroom to take a shower. She washed her body and shampooed her hair. She stayed a couple minutes longer just enjoying the water running down her body.

She stepped out of the small shower and got dressed into a jeans and a normal white shirt. She didn't feel like dressing up because it was only school.

The young girl groaned when she realized she had to leave soon and hadn't even eaten yet. She ran downstairs only to be greated with complete silence.

It didn't surprise her that her parents weren't home once again. They were usually at work 24/7. They always tried to make it up with her by buying her stuff but that didn't replace the attention she lacked.

The young girl searched through the cabinets, looking for food but with no success. She quickly wrote a note saying that they needed more food.

Luckily, they still had some fruit left so she took an apple and decided it'll do for the day.

She took her bag and her keys from the hook, that's placed next to the door, and headed out of the house.

Allison unlocked her car, got in and drove to school. During her drive towards school she eat her apple and listened to music.

She arrived and parked her car in her usual parking lot which was close to school and under a tree.

She got out of the car and lit her cigarette. She waited 'till the school bell rang before she put her cigarette out and went inside.

The brown haired girl placed her headphones on her head and strolled through the hallway to her locker. She good her books for the first two periods and went to class.

She entered the classroom and scanned the room for an empty seat in the back. To her luck there were two left by the window.

Nobody said a word when she passed by the tables. The thought of her as a freak because she was isolated and didn't have any friends.

She didn't care though. In her eyes, school was just a phase she had to go through before she could continue her studies and start her life.

How many times have you heard that high school friends are still friends when they're grown up? Indeed, not that many.

So why bother making friends when you'll lose them anyway?

She sat down and leaned back in her chair, waiting for the teacher to come in and start class.

He walked in a couple minutes later followed by a new blonde haired guy who was way to tall for his age.

Allison looked around the room to see everybody's reaction to the new boy. The guys didn't pay attention and just kept talking with each other but the girls were literally drooling over him.

She rolled her eyes at them and looked back at the blonde.

He apparently noticed the girls reaction too because a knowing smirk was placed on his lips.

Allison and the new guy made eye contact and his smirk turned into a frown.

He was confused why Allison wasn't drooling over him like every girl does.

"Class silent please. Miss. Parker, remove those headphones please," Mr. Johnson said.

Allison rolled her eyes but did as was told.

"Thank you. Okay class, this is Luke Hemmings. I aspect you to make him feel welcome here," The older man said while looking around the class.

"Oh, that won't be a problem," giggled a girl who was mentally undressing Luke.

Allison groaned at the girl's comment and placed her head in her hands. She, however, heard her and shot Allison a death stare.

"That's enough, Luke you can go sit wherever you want," Mr. Johnson said.

Luke nodded his head and made direct eye contact with Allison.

He ignored all the girls as he walked to the back of the class and sat down next to brown haired girl.

A smirk returned back to his face but disappeared again when Allison still didn't give him attention.

"Why are you sitting here?" Allison asked out of curiosity.

"You looked lonely," He shrugged.

"Did it ever cross your mind that there's maybe a reason behind it?" She asked, leaning back in her chair.

"And what reason would that be?" He questioned.

"You'll find out soon," Allison replied uninterested.

"How?" The blonde asked.

"Nobody really likes me here so they'll find one way or another to scare you away," she said

"I'd like to see that happen," He replied.

"Miss. Parker, Mr. Hemmings, care to enlighten us why you're disturbing my class?" Mr. Johnson called them put.

"No sir, it won't happen again" Luke replied before Allison could make a snarky response.

"I'll let it slide this once because you're new. Don't make me call you out a second time" He warned Luke.

The teacher turned his back towards the two and continued his class.

It didn't go Allison unnoticed how every girl occasionally turned around to  stare at Luke and give her a dirty look.

The class passed by slowly and Allison was about to kill someone to make it at least it bit more interesting, but the bell prevented her from doing so.

She slowly packed her bag and placed her headphones back on.

She heard Luke shout out something so she took her headphones off and turned towards him.

"I didn't catch you first name" He said.

"I'd like to keep it that way" She smirked and placed her headphones back on, ignoring everything that Luke was saying
