chapter 15

The party went really well, everyone was enjoying themselves.

Calum was drinking and chatting to some guys. Luke was once again surrounded by a lot of girls and Michael was having a good time on the dance floor.

Ashton and Allison were standing somewhere on the side enjoying each others company.

"Okay, what about her? What do you think she was in a previous life?" Ashton asked her with a goofy smile on his face.

"Hmm that's a hard one," She replied as she observed the shy girl, "oh, I know, a stick insect."

This made Ashton laugh.

"You're one of the most random persons I know," he giggled.

Out of the corner of his eye he saw a red head getting some air outside. He felt the presence of her pure soul and realized he hadn't fed in a while.

The demon tried to focus on something else, but he couldn't. His hunger for a soul was too strong.

"Hey, I'm gonna get some air. I'll be right back," he told Allison. She nodded in response.

Ashton quickly went outside and sat himself down on the bench next to the girl.

"It's a beautiful night, don't you think?" He commented, breaking the silence.

"Yeah, there are a lot of stars visible tonight," she said.

"I'm Ashton," he said, giving her a cheeky smile.

"I know, you're one of the new kids and one of the hosts tonight. I'm Rebecca," She said.

"You look gorgeous tonight," he complimented her.

"Thanks," Rebecca blushed.

"Why are you outside anyways? Shouldn't a beautiful girl like you steal the show inside?" Ashton asked.

"The music was giving me a headache, so I hoped it would be better out here but it's still to loud," She answered, blushing an even darker red.

"Follow me, if you go further you hardly hear anything from the music," he said.

"Oh, I uh, I don't think that's a good idea... My friends-"

"You're friends can party without you for a couple minutes. Besides I'd like to get to know you better," he smirked and gave her a wink.

She was doubting the offer, but took his hand anyways and followed the demon into the small woods behind his house.

Meanwhile, Allison was still waiting for Ashton to come back.

She danced with Michael for a bit and even got herself a drink. He still didn't show up so she decided to see where he was.

She couldn't find him outside so she decided to ask the boys.

"Luke, have you seen Ash?" She asked him since he was the first one she saw. The girl, who surrounded him, where giving her dirty looks because now he didn't give them attention anymore.
